Two options: FMA and FMA:B. If you just want to watch one, FMA:B is the superior choice. But once you watch FMA:B the original FMA is hard to go back to.
FMA does have some perks and I'm going to list them here but if you get tired of the show don't feel bad about switching over. FMA has a smaller scope in "literal physical size" and less focused plot overall but nothing like filler. FMA was made as the manga was in the middle of being written but who the characters are is mostly the same with characters just being fleshed out in different ways. The exception to that are several characters the show writers had to improvise on and continue to make the manga and show different. FMA has a better orchestra track because the composer was different than FMA:B. It's not major but a nice touch. FMA uses a certain facial expression style more... It's the one where the face turns into a more expressive but simpler style for short moments. Kinda like what was in Teen Titans.
The farther into FMA you get the more it diverges from FMA:B. The core characters aren't (much) different just developed differently, the biggest change comes with the characters the author herself hadn't decided on yet. The FMA writers drive the idea of the show in a very interesting direction and come up with some stellar curve balls that hit me hard. I think both are 10 out of 10 and watching FMA only makes FMA:B even better, but FMA:B is certainly slightly superior.
I finished watching this yesterday. It was actually pretty good I recommend it. My problem is that Im quickly running out of good anime to watch. Ive seen all the fantastic ones (steins gate, bebop, alchemist) could you guys recommend any animoos that are worth watching?
Welcome to the NHK is a really good slice of life anime centering around a 20-something hikikimori (a a modern, urban Japanese shut-in) named Sato, Both the sub and dub are good so feel free to watch whichever you prefer
Death Parade is a newer anime about a bar in purgatory where an Arbiter plays games with his patrons to decide if they are pure hearted enough to be reincarnated or if they are tainted and are doomed for the abyss. There's no dub of this one yet so you'll be stuck watching it subbed
Knights of Sidonia is a Netflix original anime that is basically a less overrated Attack on Titan !! in space!!
there's again no dub for this one so watch it subbed
Noragami is about a minor God struggling to make a living - he has no shrine, no priests and no weapon and even worse he has a human girl he accidently got stuck in the astral plane that follows him around
and on the off chance you somehow haven't seen it yet
Soul Eater is about a group of highscool-age kids who attend a special school run by Lord Death (shinigami-sama) where they learn how to hunt the souls of both witches and evil humans, half of the class is "Meisters" and the other half is "Weapons" the kids who are weapons can take the form of a weapon and the Meisters can wield them in battle - I actually prefer the dub of this one since it's Micha Soulusod and Todd Haberkorn turning in their best voice work imo but the sub is just as good
Some popular anime that you might like, sorry if you've already watched them:
Psycho Pass
Barakamon (This one isn't that known but it's just a really nice light hearted anime)
Code Geass: One of the best anime I've ever seen, close contender with fma:b
Death Note
Clannad
Kuroko's Basketball
Angel Beats
Ano Hana
Akatsuki no Yona: I personally really enjoyed this
One Piece if you have the time, honestly gets better as it progresses
Black Lagoon
Gurren Lagann
Another: Spoopy but good
Reborn!: The first 25 episodes are there to introduce the characters so it looks like a funny slice of life so people usually say it's **** and miss out, when Tsuna gets his X-Gloves which is episode 26(?) it really turns into an amazing anime
Gintama: Kinda hit and miss, the first 30 or so episodes were pretty boring to me, everyone told me how funny it was but alot of people agree that the first 30 or so episodes are a little lacking but it gets really funny afterwards, still it's an acquired humor
**adolfoliverbush used "*roll picture*"** **adolfoliverbush rolled image** I have a question, I watched all of bebop, and didn't like it very much, what makes people think it's so great?
As I finished watching it I didnt appreciate it very much either, but one of my friends that watched it (he's good with tropes and all that) had figured out all the hidden, and non hidden messages that it tried to get across. After having it explained to me I appreciated Bebop a lot more. Maybe you could look it up somewhere Im sure youre not the only one that felt underwhelmed.
It's one of the most twisted and gripping horror mysteries I've seen, and it's so misleading because the first episode will present it as a generic happy-go-lucky slice of life. (Unless the version you watch kept in the brutal suicide at the first minute of the show)
'Jormungand' is seriously, seriously good. And super underrated. Action sequences are OP and the writing's luscious as **** . Takes like 3 episodes to get used to the art style and the animation is great. I can't recommend anything you've probably not seen more. I had become bored for ages with nothing to watch and then came across this. Literally~
So. ******* . Good bby.
i did that when i quit my job. boss was yelling at me for something i didn't do (cause i hadn't been there the past 3 days other guy was working those days) and asked me if i even wanted to work there and i said no. he then said why don't you just go home, so i grabbed my bag and walked out never went back.
I had liked Shiniki more before he became a badass. Once he went full beast mode his character got a lot more generic in my opinion. Anyone else feel that way or is it just me?
I enjoy seeing weak characters develop into strong badass characters so I liked shinichi's transformation but I do agree that it was a little overdone like Kaneki Ken was from Tokyo Ghoul
Kaneki was done well I think. He sort of just mentally snapped after Being tortured for like a week straight
Shiniki just woke up after Migi saved him and was essentially badass incarnate. We only got like 5 episodes of nerd Shiniki before they made him turn alpha. The development went to quickly
The whole thing with it was he was becoming more like a parasite while Migi became more human. I liked that. Esp. At the end when both of them are so used to everything they just joke about the people thinking they were dead too.

In a grade 9-10 math class years back I was being a little **** to our substitute teacher, so were my friends. One of my friends got sent to the office, a few minutes later the teacher asked if i wanted to join him, i said no, few minutes later she tells me to go to the office, i said ok, walk into the hall and walk the opposite way of the office and just ended up walking home
