Chivalry of a failed knight was a nice suprise. Mc isn't a beta cuck and is badass despite being somewhat powerless. Also dat final ******* episode, season 2 when?
Have you seen Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei?

When these both shows are OK but nothing special in my books I just find it funny how very very similar they are... They both even have a little sister character who uses magic/ice magic...
They're very, very different in the romantic aspect though.
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei's MC knows how to handle women but chooses not to.
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry's MC has no clue, but aces it through sheer determination.
Do you think The Irregular at Magic High School will have a dub soon? I've seen it on Netflix but I've been holding off on watching it for awhile in hopes they'll add a dub soon, but I have no idea how long it'll be.
Yeah, I saw it. Did have a similar feel for certain aspects of the show. Both were kinda generic, but at least had a bit of a standout MC and also had some good moments.
It was nice that they subverted a lot of the popular anime cliches, and I'll still watch it, but man... it's wish fulfillment to the nth degree. Supposed 'loser' who's hated by his family suddenly turns out to be super strong and gets a ludicrously hot girlfriend who's a princess and wants nothing more than his D. And I don't think you can really call him 'somewhat powerless' when has yet to lose a fight.
He's "powerless" in the sense that he has no magical power that we're aware of.
No shields, no elemental affinity, nothing like that. To the people in that world, it constitutes as "powerless" because he can't do what most take for granted. He's all physical strength and self amplification, which isn't considered difficult, I guess.
Still a solid MC. My only complaint with him is how dense he is sometimes and how he doesn't put people down when he has issues with them. But Alice kind of addresses that early on, I suppose.
Not a fan of Disturbed's version of that song. They are easily a top 5 band of mine but Draiman has way too much of a monotone voice for that song.I prefer the Bobaflex version InB4 my opinion is **** and im wrong
From everything I've read about the series, the MC pursues his love interest (pictured above) faithfully throughout. Also gets his first kiss, and tells off the other girls that are interested in him. So his mistake above is the exception to the rule.
This guy isn't though, far from it. Apart from the whole "how is a couple supposed to act", this guy's got **** on tight lockdown.
He actually avoids every single common pitfall, sometimes quite gloriously.
>>#12, Yes, yes, fifty ******* yes. This guy is clueless as **** when it comes to dealing with people, but as with his other situations, sheer force of will carries him gloriously. I thoroughly enjoy the series as a whole, season two can't come soon enough.
I don't get why people are so quick to jump into bed with people unless they know from early on that the relationship has no potential . Like with my current boyfriend, we went on one date every week for a month before I shacked with him on the fifth date. Why isn't this more normal?
I think it might be just not spoken of. Though I don't think I can honestly add to that claim. I knew my girlfriend online for 8 years before meeting her in person and we had sex in under two weeks after doing so. Say what you will, but she was begging for it by the third night. I wouldn't move forward until she asked while not high on passion.
I've never had a relationship since becoming an adult that did not start from either a one night stand or a first date score - I tend to find that girls that want to take it slow are not into the same fast-paced, partying lifestyle that I enjoy, and therefore I will probably be more happier not dating them. Although all in all I prefer being single as I love my freedom and independence.
I just let people know I'm more for casual stuff, not an actual relationship. Better to let them know early on before they get attached. And if it don't work out, then it don't work out.
Aside from the fact that the main character actually chooses his love interest and does not give in to the harem's ******** , it's pretty generic. It depends on whether this thing carries it for you or not.
meh show overall, though i do give it points for the main guy openly choosing his love interest early instead of it happening in the last episode/not at all
