I always wondered why Naruto let that happen before I knew of that scene. I mean, there /are/ clones in the back and they could have easily just tackled Neji or just punched him in the face.
Guess they just really wanted to copy that scene to the letter.
But Naruto didn't even try to stop him is what I was getting at. If Naruto had made an attempt, then yeah Neji probably would have dodged it, but it would have stopped Neji's attack at least.
ehhhhhhhhhh that's an insult to Boondocks man... black humor is tyler perry garbage. Boondocks is ******* hilarious, mad love or the show. Race shouldn't really matter.
Honestly, I always thought the show was ran by white people. Or at least a white person, because sometimes that's all it seems like is "Black people bashing"
There are a few moments where they bash white people, and it's completely hilarious... but sometimes I just have trouble watching it without feeling stereotypical\racist.
it's a bunch of black people living the very stereotypes that are used against them.
There's also an old black guy who thinks he has the opposite of what MJ had which would mean he's white but looks black, is named "Uncle", and hates black people
It's a good mix of low and high brow humor, with satire on current issues, and lots of random moments involving violence or trashy humor.
Though most of the jokes seem racist and just trashy, it's all surprisingly deep. Like when martin luther king jr never died and just went into a coma and got to experience how "too many" black people choose to take advantage of the freedom the last generation of blacks just struggled to earn. That and mocking how his ideas of peace and turning the other cheek would be heavily frowned upon in post 9/11 america and how he'd practically be seen as unamerican.
Not that I'm trying to say you have to watch and enjoy it otherwise you're not smart, but it's really worth the watch once you get all the jokes. Kinda like any other show.
As an avid fan, this is easily the best description of why I like it. However, it's not for everyone. I showed it to someone the other day and they were like "meh".
I've seen every episode and it's in my top five favorite show easily.
I like the show, though never really took the time to watch it before because I didn't get most of it.
Lately, I've seen a few episodes and they're pretty damn good and clever.
Nothing truly is for everyone, but it's best to try something new while expecting the worst.
It's based off a Bruce Lee fight. This happens all the time actually, most of the time when there are identical fights like these it's Bruce Lee, though sometimes there are other common inspirations that the animators pay homage to.
Follow the punch, slow past the face, speed up punch, Impact face, moment of hesitation, 2 blocks in a row, followed by a quick Knee to the face, then throwing them backwards.
I'm sure if I were to look back I could find plenty of example of this same style, its not common but its been around for awhile.
