I went into Haruhi knowing nothing expecting it to be some cute little anime. I came away after having to experience the Endless Eight. I will never watch anime without some foresight again.

I actually have a thing for socially awkward girls. I have no idea why, they just seem more pure and less.... bitches. At least in my opinion.

The best advice i can give ? None really... sadly i am the male version of you HOWEVER i stumbled across one girl who is kinda like me and it OPENED UP so many doors. The best advice i can give is GO TO ANIME AND GAME conventions (things like supernova if you live in aus) everyone there is nice fun and like minded :)

Hey, if you can handle a long distance relationship you've nothing to worry about.

If it weren't for the internet, I wouldn't be in the long distance relationship I'm currently in. It just sucks that I can't be with my boyfriend because we're both introverts with no jobs. We've been slowly motivating each other, and he's starting to open up to more people. He's even gained the confidence to apply for a job at a couple of places.
But, you know, until he and I actually meet in person, what I said before is still true. It kinda sucks being an introvert.

Yeah, it does suck. And I've had an Internet-based relationship before, and I'm not opposed to them, I would just prefer one based on face-to-face relations because I'm trying to force myself to get better at them.

But as for that, my social anxiety and other slew of psychological mishaps will probably ruin that as well. But I'm in no rush, and I've got a lot of time left, so I'm pretty much okay with it.

While I'd prefer a relationship face-to-face, my history with relationships in person haven't been great.

There are a lot of girls like that here. You have to realize, you haven't met every guy in your area, so it makes sense you never met one that looks for that. You aren't meeting the right people. My girlfriend, (Who I have been with for 2 years and almost 5 months, march 15 marks the 5 months) was one of those people that didn't talk to a lot of people, and just kept to herself a lot, until I met her.

Ditto; look around, and be confident--you'll find some cute guys who are both into what you are and LOOK for that in a girl. I've been dating the girl I'm with now for almost 2 years now, and we love playing videogames and watching Doctor Who and movies together, and I met her through Brain Game and Nerdfighteria.
