If the line was used to 'solidify Saitama's sexuality' then I don't see the problem. Many manga authors have expressed that they don't like their characters being used in yaoi or **** . When you create characters they're your own, you have a specific idea of who they are and what you want them to be, seeing people changing their sexuality for 'muh yaoi' in particular isn't something all authors are happy about.

On a similar note, George R.R. Martin doesn't like people using his characters for fan fiction because he believes using other people's worlds and characters is lazy and cheap, he encourages people to create their own thing.

Everything in writing is borrowed from somewhere, however. Game of Thrones, though unique in it's own right borrows plenty of fantasy elements, dragons being one of the biggest.

Now if only G.R.R. Martin could create something original HIMSELF instead of ripping off bargain-basement fantasy and laundry-room soap operas....

I like how everyone is thumbing this down, even though George R.R. Martin was born George R. Martin, but added a second middle name so he could be like J. R. R. Tolkien.
He deliberately wastes time when writing SoIF books because he's waiting until people see him as a fantasy legend like Tolkien.

He was born George Raymond Martin. The second middle initial is for Richard, which is his confirmation name. That's an additional name some Catholics take when they undergo confirmation, the act of receiving the sacrament for the first time.

He took the name when he was thirteen, as part of a religious ceremony. It has nothing to do with Tolkien.

they're probably the same anon, and if not, anon #2 is agreeing with anon #1 which implies that he's trying to use the information to paint GRRM in a negative light.

Like that's going to stop any reasonable person. Porn doesn't have to be Cannon to the main story.

Though I agree with George R.R Martin, that's not a reason to stop from making porn. What difference does it make if someone writes a story about Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, and a story about two original villains?
Trick question: Seeing Harley get revved up is my fetish. Some random chick, ain't.
