"Hello,I'm Takeshi NOGAMI.
co-author of Marine corps YUMI.
Anastasia Moreno passed departed from us at 14:12 July 12th, 2015, Japan Standard Time.
She rests in peace, with a gentle smile on her face, appreciating all
the love that she has been blessed with from all her friends and family.
It it very difficult for me to accept her death now,so please forgive me to let you know in very short message.
We,Ana and I continue to drawing "Marine-corps YUMI",because she already gave me all plot of this story.
We will go on,of course English version manga also.
So please give us a time for a while and your support.
Thank you."

Even though she was dealing with cancer for months, she still wrote content and translated it all to English all the way to the end. Thank you FJ for showing me MC Yumi.

Maybe something to do with making games or some animated series. It's kinda childish but it's my childhood dream and I'm stuck being a dietitian.

That's what I wanted to do too. I lacked the discipline at the time to take it seriously though, but things worked out in the end for me. I animate and sculpt in my free time and people like my work. They even buy it sometimes. My actual job is working with metal which I always planned on that being my hobby, but I love what I do and rarely feel like I'm actually doing a job.
If you want to animate, draw every day. Have projects with goals and deadlines and stick to them. This will put you ahead of the game considerably.
If you want to make video games, Unity and RPG Maker are good places to start getting a feel for how things should work together, though Flash is great as it's often used in other applications and the products are easy to distribute. I started off by making table top versions of my game ideas to see what worked and what didn't mechanically. My biggest weakness was writing code. I have a hard time understanding it, but I practice a lot and though I can only do some really simple things it's still more than I could a few months earlier.
I do recommend going to a good art school not only to sharpen your skills but to make connections with other people doing the same thing.They'll be able to teach you and inspire you as you go in ways you simple can't on your own.
You're not stuck. I know that first hand. Now go do the thing.

Yeah. No offense to people that have died recently, but this is different for me.

Steve Jobs, Amy Winehouse, Robin Williams, Iwata, there just Gods to me man. They're not people I know, I don't know the slightest thing about any of them.

But people on the level of Anastasia or Edd are different. She was putting out a strip on the FB page twice a week, and interacted with us. And at the end of every strip, she gave insider information about the the content (the U.S., the Marine Corps, Japan, military life, etc.)

She was so much more interactive, and for a fan like me who was deeply interested in that stuff, the person dying when you got to know them a bit, it's different.

there are so many ways to take what you said, i get the gist of it but the wording is confusing to me.

mainly cause how you see a few people and group them together. not only that but you say "or edd" but you speak nothing of him as if that was it, you only knew his name.

but that's my opinion, again what you said is confusing to me and i can't find the right words to form a question into which what confused me. so i'm gonna leave it there.

As to what you were saying. Celebrities, actors, and singers are kind of completely beyond us. While people that are a little more relatable, in this case an animator and a manga writer, are more down to earth and relatable to me. Sorry for the confusion.
