Building this PC is for masochists. Everything works except that it doesn't like my pretty old screen. So now i need a converter, so that'll be another day until i can use it.

VGA to HDMI is useless although possible. It doesn't up the quality of the signal at all, so VGA to DVI-I is the most i'll do.

Well, motherboard needs to have plugs for case fans and those tend to be in weird places.

I managed to **** out 1 page of thesis today. Only 5 to go, and I doubt this section will make that much. Probably will have to add some random ass **** (pictures ftw).

I'll probably have to redo most of the wiring. But i think the case might be pretty damn old and the motherboard doesn't have the necessary plugs anymore for it. I doubt pcpartpicker actually picks those up.

I've played several flash games that basically have a town where you can shop and stuff, then you jump into a dungeon and keep going till you die (or decide to leave using return scroll / etc.) and you're back in town. The better you are prepared / the more skilled you are, the farther you will get. Ofc it has waypoints to skip easy levels.

Yeah, but better. Like full-on game better. The mango's inspired me because they keep going deeper, but they are able to go deeper because they eat the monsters and harvest the herbs and they're pretty strong. They do have return spells, different pathways to go down (lots of traps / few monsters vs lots of monsters / few traps), a revive system where people go around reviving random dead adventures and ask like 30% of their stuff as a fee, etc.
The mango turned into a game would make for a great game now that i think of it.

I don't mind trying something like that. Would give me a reason to actually bother doing something in between watching anime.

Well Visual Studio does have these prebaked ASP.net controls that do various amounts of stuff in mysterious ways. Which i don't usually like because i like being able to customize my stuff and the default formats all look like **** .

I was allocating ~4M array every frame. Without that line program runs at like 2000 FPS, but with it probably drops to like 100.

Making it bigger won't do anything, besides, it has to be same size as my backbuffer.

Just plug things whereever they fit. That's how it works. Once I forgot to plugin power for my CPU, PC would turn on but wouldn't do anything.

Don't want to short out my motherboard though. There's supposed to be spacers. But i got 2 bags with "Screws for Chassis" and "Screws for M/B & PSU". It gets confusing finding out which ones does which.

Just use whichever fits. That's what I did and everything's fine. It's not even completely screwed.

Well i made use of most plugs. The fan that came with the case didn't fit anything though, so that'll be some nice decoration, i guess.
Only issue now is that i don't have the GPU yet and it doesn't start up at all. Which is neat, after all that work figuring everything out. I suppose i need to find an extension cord instead of the block that i plug everything into. Doesn't seem like the power supply fits properly.

I'm more interested why laptop has similar spot in similar place.
For desktop monitor I thought maybe it overheated from electronics behind the screen. They're somewhere in that area - it's the warmest one, but laptop's screen doesn't have any electronics, so it's weird.

They're in separate rooms so definitely not. I'm not saying they're exactly in the same place, but rather, both are in the bottom right, a bit above from bottom edge, but right next to the right edge.

I see a spot at about 1/4th up from the corner. It is pretty small though. But the way it's close to the edge would make me think it's made by a hand grabbing the edge and pressing the thumb on the screen itself

I'm typically careful about that and screen isn't that sensitive to leave permanent mark. Although there's a "wave" of distortion even on slightest touch.

Isn't haki flexible to begin with? There were few characters that could pull off full body haki.

I doubt it's immensely flexible. Luffy usually sticks to reinforcing just his fist or the part getting hit. Virgo or whatever his name was did go full-body haki though. But he didn't seem to be overly agile either. Mostly using his haki to tank hits.

Yeah, that could be. He was pretty confident in his ability to tank hits with haki, since he doesn't bother to dodge Sanji's kicks and Law's slash at all. But full body cover was considered exceptional for most. Then again, it was also exceptional to be able to use any haki at all. Hell, even Zephyr's ability to cover his entire arm was seen as amazing.

Well most people in OP don't seem to develop Haki in the early part of the Grand Line and outside of it. It's probably why Logia's were so OP in the beginning.

Yeh. Those powers become less useful and it's mostly all about haki. Gomu-gomu looks way more useful at this point than Ace's fire.

Well Logia's are still useful, since the haki is only effective if their haki is stronger than your own. That and general elemental stuff. The fire would be useful for scaring people, instant fire, large attacks (Ace was able to take out like 5 ships with just one attack), etc.
But Luffy's rubber makes him pretty much immune to most physical attacks. And gives him some pretty great range and abilities when applied creatively.

Do they even use haki during Logia fights? Haki vs Haki yes, but logia ability... I don't remember them ever mentioning that. It seems haki always wins against logia.

My idea of getting 4K display is back yet again. It's 500 euro. Expensive. So I'm not sure if I should get one :\ Especially considering that my current one still works almost perfectly. Not a single dead pixel 5 years later, although in bottom right there is a spot which is slightly brighter / different shade. For some reason my laptop has exactly same problem. Tried to take photo with phone's camera but it disappears yet very visible to the eye.

They probably do use haki in order to ensure getting hits in. But in Logia v Logia it usually comes down to the elements of the logia.

Well if your rig can handle it. But if there's no reason to replace your current screen, i'd say to wait until a sale or something. Might be a problem that can be fixed if you look it up. Had the same thing with my screen giving everything shadows. Turns out all i have to do is blow on the plugs.

It was created before Redline, so it can be anything. But most likely new scenes, or at least same scenes with different animation. Doubt they'd bother reusing it. Hard to tell tbh.
I've watched Kiddy Grade Pilot before, and it was a fully fledged episode on its own.

So it really just comes down to being a "test episode". I doubt they'd use the same animation as Redline itself though, since that was way too expensive. But it looked amazing for the effort.

I haven't seen the new anime with dragon girls (at least I think it was dragon girls) nor Monster Musume so I cannot compare. Overall it's alright. They accidentally meet, start living together, she slowly learns how to talk and goes to school. During a typical introduction someone asks what she likes and she says MC's name. At some point other dragons start appearing. MC helps them so they fall for him as well, similar thing happens with wolf girl. There's also an antagonist, black dragon if I remember right, who is trying to get/kidnap blonde dragon.

Wait, a new one? I need its title then. Well most of MonMusu is just the chemistry of the monster girls living with Darling. Read the mango . That and discussing Best Girls. Or the wacky adventures they get into with other monster girls.

My laptop's CPU is no good as well. Same with GPU.
Well, tbh they aren't too bad. But laptop easily climbs over 100 C which causes them to downclock resulting in massive lag spikes every 5-10 seconds.

My laptop is a beast among laptops, but even the best laptop will always be worse than a mediocre desktop. That and it's just not keeping up with some of the games that i got. Storage is pretty limited, can't handle some newer games, etc. But atleast it doesn't get incredibly hot. Just tries to get liftoff.

I'm still keeping it for school 'n stuff. It's got a pretty great cooling design with better than average airflow. I mean, seriously, why do most laptop manufacturers put 3/4th of a laptop's vents on the bottom of the thing? That's terrible flow for most surfaces.

My laptop's HDD has been ruined by torrents. It works extremely ****** now.
Mine IS on the bottom. And despite liftoff attempts it still easily goes above +100 C.

Mine's working just fine, for the time being. The hugest issue is just that it's a 500GB drive split into 2 uneven partitions that it won't let me just fuse. But it fills up way too damn fast to me. That and there's probably a bunch of hidden games or something that eat my space. Can't wait for the freedom of 1TB.

Windows won't let you fuse partitions. You have to use external tools, which for some reason don't always work either. 1 TB isn't that great either. Filled mine up with less than 100 series. That's 10 GB / series and with that average you can easily see most aren't even proper BDs.

I don't tend to bulk download series though. I usually download one that i'm interested in, watch it, maybe make webms and then i'll delete it. Which does remind me that i haven't made a lot of webms of 7Witches.
I do however bulk download huge games. So i'll have to watch that. Even at this moment my laptop's holding Black Flag, Elite: Dangerous, Phantom Pain, Payday 2, The Last Remnant, Deus Ex: HR, Dyling Light, GTA V. So quite a lot of heavy games with an average of 20-30GB.

Downloading series is like "To Watch" list of mine. So it kind of gets heavy. Lately I started creating bookmarks to MAL instead, so I save some space, but it's still an issue since I don't want to delete old series I've downloaded in the past and risk not being able to find them anymore.
And I don't have a single game on my desktop. Laptop has World of Tanks which father plays.

I just add it on MAL when i think it's interesting. I just download it when i feel like watching it. Saves a lot of space.
Doesn't really work for games though. I download them because i want to play them, but then i end up playing another one for a long while. But i refues to delete it just because "Maybe someday i'll feel like it". Good thing i don't download mango's.

Well, the only other 2 games that i can think of on this laptop is Worms Armageddon and One Finger Death Punch. And some emulators. And Nekopara.

I somehow feel better when I have links instead of MAL list. Besides, I also have bookmarks to images which are just compilations of anime suggestions. Too lazy to find everything on MAL when I originally find them, so it's easier to save link / image.

Well, the MAL list fills up a bit too easily to be really good. I tend to forget why i added series until i read the synopsis again. I do have like 2-3 of those "Anime reccomendation" images that they love to throw around.

Atleast that setup will actually run the games at a proper rate on medium settings. My 630M can't even handle low on some of the newer games. I'll probably save up more now in order to upgrade it. As soon as i get a second screen again can't use my laptop as a screen, i think , i'll probably save up for a 970 next. A 980 is a bit too expensive for just a little performance over the 970.

970 has enough performance, but 2 GB is not enough for some games, so you won't be able to crank up textures / shadows to max.
8 GB RAM is a bit too little but you'll do just fine.
2.7 / 3.3 GHz CPU is just awful. I have 3.9 and it's still not enough.

I think Shadows is the most useless setting to crank up though. Doesn't add a whole lot and bites too huge of a chunk out of performance for me.

Current aim is pretty much matching it, even though neither seem to have been benchmarked. And € 150 extra for just 0.5 extra ghz is quite a lot.

Well, those weird imaginary superpowers actually do have effect on the game. And each of them does have special play. Udders MC is best player online but sucks a bit in real life. She gets turned on while playing in real life. Games with her aren't awesome but she's grabbing points slowly, if you watch anime she doesn't even look like MC. Her best friend is way more spectacular - keeps getting same / similar combos multiple times in a row, but has bad habit of not trying to stack up points and rather tries to even out scores. At one point she had +/-0 average through the tournament.

Today i discovered that manually setting up a custom RoleProvider on 4 hours of sleep is kinda hard. My teacher insists on using an access database and i figured i should do a proper login this time around. Then i learned that the default rolemanager doesn't use access at all. I spent 2 lessons now reading up on all that **** . And i think i can kind of get it to work.

What is RoleProvider and access?

I continue doing security stuff, like encrypting passwords and such, it's not bad on it's own, but it also has to be backwards compatible & have some options for troublesome customers which essentially lower security.

Well in order to deny and allow access based on roles and not just "Authenticated or not", i need a RoleManager. Rolemanager needs a RoleProvider in order to properly do it. Roleprovider is generally a database with the various roles and a part of the Membership structure of .Net Framework. Doesn't sound hard to make, but it's annoying to configure and implement. Access uses OleDb data stuff. School won't let me generate a SQL RoleProvider because they don't give me admin rights.

Luckily i don't need to bother a lot of with security.

mdb might have that. Accdb doesn't apparenlty. It's all a pretty confusing mess of config and databases to figure out. The biggest issue is just getting it to accept and work with the accdb, so i can atleast use the premade Authorization functions and methods.
