Except that Goku has to train extremely hard to become powerful, but Superman can become as powerful as he damn well pleases, about 10 years worth of training for Goku is about 3 seconds of flying upwards for Superman.

They are both the "godly heroes" of their universes, however goku was built around the idea of having to overcome obstacles, so he usually gets his ass kicked and trains really hard to beat them the next time. Superman is really as strong as he needs to be, future superman is practically god. Which of them would win in a fight? Neither because goku wouldn't want to use superman's weakness (kryptonite) because it would be "not fighting superman at his strongest" and superman wouldn't want to destroy goku because that would likely cause such extreme collateral damage he would hold himself back.

Yeah, but superman would probably mention this (superheroes always mention their weaknesses) and goku would wait for daytime to fight him XD

they didn't use a fair super man they used super man in fucking god form. in god form he is invincible and only gets stronger, it was a slanted fight from the beginning. Plus goku can detect how powerful someone is, he should have noticed if someone was getting exponentially stronger the closer they got to the son. he may be illiterate, but he isn't stupid. and that's something they poked fun of a lot in the death battle. They portrayed goku as a retarded hillbilly monkey who relies solely on his transformations, and fighting skills, and nothing on his cunning in the heat of battle. The saiyan race was inaccurately represented.

I enjoy dragon ball much more than I enjoy the story of super man.

the main thing in my opinion was that they stated superman wasnt resistant to magic, when goku hit him with his dragon punch at the end... you know the magical dragon punch, he just shrugged it off

unfortunately that punch is made of immense amounts of Ki, and ki is different than magic in the Dragon Ball universe.

I honestly can say I disagree with the video, but whatever.

All i have to say is it makes sense. In any fight senario with goku the world is gona blow up which would end up killing him.

Plus he always worked his ass off for his strength where as Goku always seemed to be able just pull it out of his ass whenever he needed it.

I fuckin know, you would think they would have the courtesy to give Vegeta super saiyan god form since, he had to go through the death of his father, planet, and entire race. They could even work it in as a reason he couldn't access SSJ4 without the transmitter. But no, give Goku everything, just like every other battle.

Not only does he have the most character development, he also has the most struggle to go through. Where as everyone offers "special" training or basically gives power to Goku, Gohan, or Piccolo, Vegeta had to find harder and better ways to train.

tl;dr Series should have ended when Vegeta sacrificed himself and he should get the god transformation.

One of Superman's weaknesses is magic. Kid Buu would definitely win, but that death battle between Goku and Superman really pissed me off.

I completely agree. Goku's always sort of been my hero, and it just pisses me off that death battle completely underestimated Goku. But that's just my take on it.
