This is why some people shouldn't be allowed on the internet. Byakuya has never used his Bankai for any reason but facing a strong enemy, or using it while training. Name one superfluous example (IN CANON) in which he misused his Bankai.

I think it was more targeted at EVERYONE in the show. Especially Ichigo. They would whip out their Bankai for just about anything.

To be fair, after he got his bankai, just about everyone he faced justified its use. Can you think of one serious fight he's been in since then when he didn't need it?

He used it against Renji to put him back in his place, because Renji was acting arrogant over just achieving Bankai.

He could have, but that wouldn't have given Renji as much of a message.
Renji hasn't challenge Byakuya again, probably because he knows that Byakuya is far stronger, and his Bankai is much better.

No, he hasn't challenged Byakuya again because he doesn't need to. He challenged Byakuya to save Rukia, not to prove to Byakuya that he was stronger.
Besides, Byakuya proving to Renji that he doesn't even need to use bankai to defeat his bankai would be a better way to show him that he's wastly superior.

Renji had always wanted to challenge Byakuya to prove himself stronger, and for reasons. I can remember the exact reasons, but it was something like "He keeps Rukia away from me so I cant have the sex with her!"

Renji wanted to surpass Byakuya, to prove himself to Rukia. When Byakuya adopted Rukia, he saw him as a wall, a wall he had to transcend in order to get Rukia.
Surpass =/= Challenge.
