I've only played MGS4, though I'm planning on getting the first and playing through as many as I can. I did sit through all of every single cutscene, which in total is about 9 and a half hours. But I don't have much of a clue what the whole story it.

MGS1 is like 10 bucks on psn.

get it. It changed my life and is by far the best mgs game there is. Back in '96 games didn't tell such moving stories like the first mgs. Playing through with my dad are probably the best memories I have. Maybe I'm over-hyping it, maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but It is truly my favorite game. I've played it many many times. I love it.

oh yeah and there is the hd collection which has mgs 2, mgs 3 and mgs peace walker all in one package for xbox/ ps3 probably 40-50$ at game stop.

so we are talking about 60$ for every single game (not including mgs 4 of course)
I call that a hell of a deal, especially for mgs.

MGS and games like it are the reason I'm a Playstation fan.

I used to be a PS fanboy but then i took an arrow to the knee but I started getting into halo. BUT THEN MGS 4 CAME OUT AND I GOT A PS3. It doesn't make too much of a difference to me however I prefer xbox for online games and ps3 for games with a better campaign then online play

(such as metal gear solid)

I have both, but still have to get Xbox Live and a wireless router.

hmm.. You're right. I do like the GUI for xbox better. That is just personal opinion though.
If I didn't like halo I'd just stick to ps3

I kinda wish PS3 had some more unique multiplayer (besides Starhawk and the like)

when I move out I think I will stick with Pc gaming. That is until I Get enough money to get all of them again.


I have a legit pc that should continue playing games smoothely for atleast another 9 years.

PC gaming is where my roots are, but it's way too expensive for me at the time. I would love to be able to play Day Z.
