That anime... I could only get to the , like, second or third episode before just tossing my hands up. It's just too crazy. I'd suggest everyone watch /at least/ the first episode, though. It's the type of anime that makes you watch an episode once, then again to get all the hidden stuff.

Rant :
The things that really kill it are the ******* flashbacks.
There's far too many of them and they **** the flow of the show so badly. They even have flashbacks to parts that actually happened (in terms of the timeline) in the show but they didn't show it when it should have happened. It's like they couldn't trust you remembering things for more than 1 episode it so they just fabricate a flashback when it's needed and instead of being cool it feels tacked on.
And don't even get me ******* started on that first episode. No doubt it was pretty awesome, but the creators realized that they didn't have much to work with after that so they had to backpedal the entire ******* story through a giant ******* flashback. Not only is the flashback is poorly telegraphed, it literally took a whole episode for me to realize that we were in flashback territory It goes on so long that it actually goes past where the first couple of episodes left off. In other words, they had to **** the entire structure of the story to get that cool first episode.
Even with all of the pacing problems and narrative issues they still found a way to shove an entire episode dedicated to a pool party, I'm not even kidding.
which would be ok if the characters weren't paper thin moe blob archetypes
but they are
the tone changes was ******* jarring and annoying as well
which would be ok if they were doing a genre deconstruction in the vein of madoka magica
but they weren't
they were doing the moe blob stuff unironically then trying to play the emotional torment stuff seriously
i hate this show
