Josuke Higashikata (when you write Josuke in kanji, it can be read as JoJo)
GIOrno GIOvana (It's an Italian pronunciation, but it still sounds like Jojo)
JOlyne CuJOh
JOhnny JOestar
Josuke Higashikata (Part 8 is like an alternate reality version of part 4 like how part 7 is an alternate reality part 1, so the jojo of part 8 shares the same name as part 4's jojo)
Even 2 of the other people in the family who aren't given too much focus while still being important have names that kind of work for Jojo
George Joestar I
George Joestar II
They don't work as well, but they still have a similar sound to Jo
JOeseph JOestar, aka jojo. Each part of jojo stars another protagonist, but they are all referred to as jojo., such as Jonathan Joestar and Kujo Jotaro.
It's not confusing at all, as far as the anime has gone. Each arc is distinct from the others, you won't lose track of characters or forget the important ones.
**bluwizard used "*roll picture*"** **bluwizard rolled image** That's why they kept in into Star Crusaders, though he kinda turned into a fuddy duddy. Also love that he's also the voice of Gintoki in Gintama.
Just the one, whole, collective, mecha-zord-esque main character, huh?
Morioh-Bot. I kinda like the idea. Semantics. Main character, main characters, whatever.
Trust me, I've struggled with this problem many MANY times. Thats why I defaulted to this, but even then it doesn't really work often. Like with Mad Max, the main character, the one who is at the center of each story aside from the first one, is never Max. He's the character given focus, but only so we can use him as a way to see the other character's story.
"If you run I'll killer her"
"I don't even know her!"
"Oh? You're not going to be a gentleman and save her?"
"Nah **** that, I like being in one piece"
"But....I kidnapped her. And am holding her hostage on this perilous bridge. Don't you want to save her?"
"Not really my problem m8"
*Rips out her tooth* "SEE? WHAT TORTURE AM I PUTTING THIS WOMAN THROUGH? WILL YOU NOT SAVE HER?"
"Dude no. C'mon Smokey it's getting late lets go get some bitches"
"I'LL DO IT. I'LL KILL HER"
"Then do it already, faggot"
*Puts her on the ground*
"I'M COMING AFTER YOU JOJO!"
"You're the worst vampire I've ever seen"
im fine with numbah one having that voice, but not a muscular dude, it just makes him sound like one of those gay dudes that goes like 'hay girlfriend'
Joseph boned Josuke's mom before Stardust Crusaders. Josuke was like two when DIO re-awoke. So if you want a part to hate Joseph because of, that'd be Part ~2.98
In part 4 he runs around Moriah readin' bout fishin and writing about starfish. In part 6 he tries to break his daughter out of jail before **** hits the fan and he ends up in a coma. He's BARELY in part 5
If he said he liked him better because of part 5 you have no reason to say his opinion is wrong. If that's what the man likes his Jotaro's to do, that's what he likes.
Jotaro is literally in only 2-3 panels in part 5 and he says only 5 lines. Its not that his opinion is wrong, its that it doesn't makes sense when he doesn't do anything and only says a basic line.
I'm sure he meant part 4, but if he meant part 5 I'm confused as to why its that one that made him like Jotaro like he does. It doesn't make sense. Its like saying that one dude who appeared in the background once on page 25 is my favorite character. It just doesn't make sense.
I am just giving the man the benefit of the doubt. If he means 5 I'm sure that he has his reason. If that short bit he was in it made him like the character more that's his **** . If he mean't 4 it would make more sense, but since he said 5 I'm just assuming he has his reasons.
He is a vampire, he warns that if Joseph runs away he'll rip her jaw off with his fingers. As a side note, in the Jojo cannon, vampires can suck blood through their fingers.
