The English episodes end fairly early in the series. If I remember correctly, then end about 400 episodes early, while the Japanese episodes are still going. If you want to watch it, English sub is your best bet.

I don't like skipping episodes. I even watched NAruto's bullshit filler seasons instead of skipping to Shippuden because I'm always afraid of missing something.

I know that feel, I did that, too. But then I realised that fillers most of the time aren't really enjoyable and they don't add anything to the story. And even if they do it's treated as if it never happened.

Still, not like I'm pressed for time. I'll just take it easy, and enjoy the shitty humor and shitty crew with the shitty fillers.

Okay, but just letting you know that you're just before one of the most awesome arcs in One Piece and I wouldn't let myself stop by some filler.

Well I'll look on the bright side of things. I'll go through a shitty filler...and wind up in an awesome arc. The filler will contrast with the arc, and make it that much better. :3

Don't know about the anime but the manga is at almost 700 chapters and is about half way done. Maybe. It is a damn good anime/manga though

the only anime to have more filler than One Piece is Bleach.

Bleach has way more filler than One Piece, but One Piece is running five years longer than Bleach.

It takes forever for the characters to get shit done. Other than that, it's decent, if you have shitloads of free time on your hands or are willing to spend months or years to catch up

It is still on going and it is a very long series but if you watch it you won't regret it :)

Well often the plot moves too slow for my tastes , however it is a series with god knows how many episodes , it sells good and you'd think people like it for a reason ...

I was pretty doubtful of One Piece to begin with, though it gets pretty awesome at times. I've still only watched about 200+ episodes, so I've still got a ways to go, seeing as they are at around 580+ now and still going (so is the manga).

I would say give it a chance.
