The producers of Vocaloid think that we don't know anything about it. They even talked about "introducing" Americans to Vocaloid within the next few years. So they don't think any of their products would sell here.
User avatar #32 to #31 - yuukoku (08/24/2013) [-]
Are you serious? They really haven't done their homework.

Obviously, Miku's English voicebank will be released in about a month or two, and if it sells well here, her producers might start noticing us.

I figured that they could probably once or twice have Googled "Vocaloid" or something in English or at least looked into how much Americans like Vocaloid. I'm somewhere between angry and confused.

Perhaps they're just lazy and don't want to deal with us?
User avatar #38 to #36 - yuukoku (08/24/2013) [-]
But it's a chance to make more money! They should be jumping all over this!

Well, like I said, they're thinking about "Introducing" Miku and the rest of the Vocaloids to us but they said they want to make more English Voicebanks before they do.

They're really uninformed.

I hope that they'll leave some japanese songs in it if they decide to make an EU/US version... I can't imagine Miku and co singing in English and Japanese has a nice ring to it.

What do you mean? [HATSUNE MIKU V3 ENGLISH] Coming Together by BSC a.k.a. kuni [初音ミク V3 ENGLISH]
User avatar #46 to #42 - yuukoku (08/24/2013) [-]
I'm not sure how good it's going to sound in English, but it sounds okay...
User avatar #45 to #42 - mrishouldstudy ONLINE (08/24/2013) [-]
Damn that sounds awkward D:
It sounds much more fluid in Japanese. I can't speak Japanese, but I've seen enough anime to know how it sounds... well, kinda
Based on the youtube comments English is actually harder than Japanese pronounciation-wise, didn't expect that.
User avatar #48 to #45 - leachan **User deleted account** (08/24/2013) [-]
The reason it sounds so bad is because Miku's voice actor doesn't know ANY english therefor can't say certain sounds like world or Together

>implying it would sell
User avatar #37 to #24 - leachan **User deleted account** (08/24/2013) [-]
I would but it.

This would definitely sell if they at least put it on the download market. They have a whole audience of people who would immediately buy it. It's better than tons of **** games that come out that nobody is going to predictably buy. The fact that this game has a predictable number of consumers means that it's a safer bet than some stupid Ben Ten game or some other **** that Nintendo has been putting out.
