You know this is actually sort of relevant in Fmab. Armstrong and his family are all about that artistic beauty. On the other hand, Sig is the sort of dude that picks up the grizzly bear a girl dropped in the street and hands it back to her.
Yes I have, and it is a fantastic ******* show. While in the show Armstrong is as powerful as he looks bear man is likely stronger as he has focused more on actually strength instead of toning. Granted this is also a show where a 120 lb woman threw a piano so y'know, anime.
Well he never was a fighter. Hell, he was barely an alchemist. He was born Slave #22. Couldn't barely do **** until a floating shadow in a jar taught him how to read and then turned him into a Philosopher's Stone with half the population of Xerxes. "Plot device" was really the only intended role for him.
Plus we never do see which one of them is stronger. Just who looks stronger (and I agree that beard man (haven't watched it in a while) looks stronger)
quite frankly..i recall them fighting two on two towards the end of the series but i cant find anything to confirm my claims...so im quite unsure myself now...
I could be remembering wrong.
From what I remember, the Armstrongs were fighting Sloth, and they were about to get ****** up but then Sig and Izumi came in and saved them, and they ****** Sloth up together.
no that cant be it...i recall the sloth fight but did it happen in a white room with stairs and **** ? also i recall there being some sort of ******** going on and all that jazz...idk its been too long since i watched the show.
no that is not...i never watched the original show till the end...i think my memory is just screwing me up..i am just..so sure they fought againts each other towards the end of the show... i have a very vivid memory of the four of them fighting...
i prefer the dubed version of FMA and FMA:brotherhood.... hate me if you want to but i think the voice actors fits way better and give more character to the characters the only anime i want to watch in Japanese is card capture Sakura
cant really say anything about the subbed, but i think the jokes are way more fun in dubbed because of the reason that the jokes give a totally different impact when you actually hear them with that ceartain voice they use in a language you understand in.
but also gives you a totally different and more legit feel for the character when they are angry for example, because english voice actors have a wider range of how they sound instead of japan just sounds like the same from person to person and in many cases you cant tell the diffrent on who is who by just listen.
this was a bit much but kinda explains that it hase nothing to do with translation, its just the feel of the sounds and the fact that i dont wana sit and read in 110km/h and miss a ton of stuff happening on the screen.
and i dont wana say that japan just have bad voice actors, they are many verry talanted it is just that its not for me have some boobs
I think subs are really ******* dumb. Why would you want to read what they're saying, thus taking away from the show you're trying to WATCH, when you could just hear.
Once you've watched a bit of subbed stuff, it only is a little distracting. Though for someone like me I'm taking Jap classes , I can usually get the jist of what they are saying, glance at the subs, and still hear what they are saying in Japanese. Most people just block out what they're saying and register the voice when they read subs.
I read the FMA manga a few years back, and now I want to watch the anime (dubbed of course lol), but apparently as you said, there's 2 different shows: FMA and FMA Brotherhood. What's the difference between the 2? Which one would you recommend for someone who read the manga?
because you have read the manga you already know what happens so it actually dosnt mater which you watch first.
both of them is awesome in its on way, but the first one as i heard dosnt follow the manga but brother hood does.
the biggest differences of these is the first anime is way more drama while brother hood is more brutal and targeting almost a 18+ audience.
but for those who havnt read the manga and dont want to and only want to watch the anime i heavilly recommend watch FMA before FMA: brotherhood.
the reason is that brother hoods first season they skip allot and just summary 50% of what happend in the original FMA, like maes hughes dies in the third episode or something like that.
but that is just what i think
Neon Genesis Evangelion is the only show i've ever found that I don't prefer dubs. Then again those dubs are ******* awful. They even tried adding in extra background sound effects for scenes like when they were at the pool. Who was in charge of that **** .
Cig Curtis is such an underrated character. Great husband, well anchored job, AND can punch the ever living **** outa Sloth with no help from Alchemy whatsoever!
