Yeah, and, likewise, guys look far more bishie in girl's manga than do their nondescript harem counterparts. Anime has always been built upon pleasing a target audience, and, let's face it, the opposite sex is always highly important.
Think of it like Twilight. Why did Twilight sell so well? Why, because the girl was completely nondescript and the guy was a 10/10. Why do visual novels sell? Because, just by spending time with them, even a beta, nondescript guy can score a 10/10 chick. Media is constantly built around pleasing a target audience, and it goes both ways.

Orihime from the Shōnen manga is ment to have one of the nicest/largest pair of boobs, other girls in Bleach have smaller boobs so they're not all like that.
