goddamnwizard (12/14/2015) [-] That's his appeal though. And that's why we all love him. Just an ordinary dude with a bike who doesn't back down, no matter how ludicrously outmatched he is, always there to help others. Mumen Rider is best hero. Aside from Saitama.

muffinssnuffims (12/13/2015) [-] Nah. Krillin always has significant moments and amounts of time spent sitting there in awe/fear going "wow... I can't believe how strong they are... they're way out of my league now..."
He still fights so Krillin is still way cooler than people make him out to be and in general he just has the bad luck of almost always being JUST strong enough to make sense to be there, but no more. If he were just a little stronger OR weaker he'd be good.
That said, Mumen Rider never even stops for a moment to think about how strong his opponents/allies are in the fight. Not even for a moment.
He still fights so Krillin is still way cooler than people make him out to be and in general he just has the bad luck of almost always being JUST strong enough to make sense to be there, but no more. If he were just a little stronger OR weaker he'd be good.
That said, Mumen Rider never even stops for a moment to think about how strong his opponents/allies are in the fight. Not even for a moment.

Mumen Rider is either and idiot or a genius, it's hard to tell. If he's buying time for a stronger hero to come and sacrificing himself so the civilians have a better chance at living then he's a great character. If he fights fights he can't win even when there's no chance of anyone coming or no one in immediate danger he's an idiot and worthless character.
We'll see.
And Kururin is very useful. He's the gauge for how strong an enemy is. If Kururin can even touch an opponent then the opponent is no match for the saiyans, etc. Mumen rider isn't a gauge for anything as a normal person could probably beat him up.
