All shounen characters are dense because they can't have the characters get too caught up in a romantic relationship.
Especially when it is comedy, it is hard to make it comedic without erotic when there is a constant sexual atmosphere between the two characters.
Ofcourse the idiots of the anime industry decided to take a retarded middleway and make the sexual tension stay but make the main male lead into a retard concerning romantic relations while the girl constantly being assertive.

This show is actually pretty good. Also for people usually not into this kinda anime. 7.8/10
