Since it's opinion time, I'll post something that may be good or bad.
I prefer FMA 03 over FMA:B, but the FMA manga over FMA 03. I don't really know why, but there was something in Brotherhood that rubbed me the wrong way.

How...how is that even possible?

I'm trying my hardest the understand your opinion, but I just can't.. just.. what?

if FMA:B has the same story as FMA manga

and you prefer the manga over the original anime

then how can you prefer the original anime over FMA:B

I just..
..
what

Brotherhood is better but the original is still good

FMA Brotherhood is technically the original, because its based off of the manga, unless I am mistaken? (maybe I am) and the first anime that came out followed it briefly but the manga didnt keep up with it, so they made their own story line.

first of all feel isn't a descriptive word. Second of all it's pretty well agreed upon brotherhood is superior.

First of all, you're on the internet. Feel is a descriptive word on the internet. Second, I've met several people who prefer FMA over Brotherhood.

Manga fag here.

Although apparently Brotherhood is the one that's actually close to the manga so yeah.

I never really cared about Dragon Ball Kai, though. It's got the same problem as a lot of the video games in which the voice actors are doing the same lines they did 20 years ago but aren't as into it this time around.

If we're talking opinions here...

I'd say original DBZ. Better music, easily. Voices were somewhat better overall. I admit I like them cutting out alot of **** in kai, but it did come at a price. Many of the big fights are also chopped down quite a bit, which sucks.

If they left the fights untouched, I would say they woulda been evenly good.

I prefer dbz abridged.

No one in the history of time itself has ever argued that GT is better than Z

The content is referring to Dragon Ball Z Kai, not GT.

But Kai is obviously the worse one, Frieza is a British guy for **** sake.

I was satisfied with DBZ so I didn't really bother getting into Kai.
#18 - weenieandthebutt (06/16/2013) [+] (1 reply)
Asides from the chopping down on pointless scenes, the one thing I really liked about Kai was that they ended it after the Cell Saga without ruining Gohan's character and leaving us to cry for Goku.

They're working on the DBZ Kai Buu saga right now.

I guess I'll throw in my two cents.

I love both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Z Kai (Uncut). DBZ had better music and some of the filler was enjoyable. Kai gets straight to the point, has more experienced voice actors, and is more faithful to the manga.

I own all of DBZ and DBZ Kai on DVD.

I haven't watched FMA or FMA:B yet (although I plan to someday), so no opinion on that.
