Id say yes,I would actually recommended not skipping any parts of jojo since for the longest time I've skipped part 5 since everyone use to say it was a bad part of the series,but I ended up loving it.So yeah :3

A lot of people ive talk to didn't like it,they said the characters were too bland and didn't really like the plot that well.I personally did after reading it :3 I liked Giorno and the rest of the crew.

Well stands are more of willpower insteand of emotions of the user since the bow and arrow force whoever is struck by it gain the ability of a stand ,those who dont survive die.I think Holly is a good example of this since she was extremely kind and didn't show any negative emotions,yet she her stand was slowly trying to kill her.

Yeah :3,and thats kind of the other thing too since stands can also come in the family tree like the rest of the Jojo family fkin Dio ruins everything without being impaled by the arrow.Sadly that doesn't guarantee it tho

That is Noriaki Kakyoin.
Of course, from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.
This comic but, in well, a comic form, what was going through his head during his final battle with DIO. Keyword on final.
If not for him, Joseph couldn't have figured out the secret of DIO's stand, and going forward from there, Jotaro couldn't have figured it out either, leading to the death of everyone, and the failure of the "Crusade"

I really didn't get much from the explanation as I haven't seen any of JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, don't know if Stardust Crusaders is a second season or some OVA either.

A true spoiler would be like the one I was given.
I haven't even read part 6. And this is what I know about the ending
Pucci evolves his stand from Whitesnake to C-Moon. Goes to Kennedy space station. Kills Jolyne and others, Makes Made in Heaven, creates his "perfect world" that just so happens to be the universe SBR is in, And gets defeated. Emporio meets Irene, that is that universe's counterpart for Jolyne.
Removes all the fun of reading it.
So you can't complain about a minor thing while everything was spoiled for me.

I admit I may have gotten caried away, but it's hard to explain anything properly without spoiling something as Hirohiko really loves leaving plot holes. Most specifically, his illustration of The Boss' ability being inconsistent.

Part 6 creates an alternate universe at the end.
That's all I can tell without outright spoiling it.
So there's 8 parts. JoJolion is ongoing. So we might have 9 parts at one point.

Eh, Dragonball has "Oh a friend died. I'm gonna kill the main villain of the saga then revive my friends"
While JJBA is someone died, someone died. None of that "lol I'm back" ******** . So when they lose someone (As you can see in the content, Kakyoin's death) He will never return. Ever.

JJBA also strives on making band references. As well as making characters from older parts return in newer parts. Even the most recent games makes Speedwagon from part 1 show up at the end of part 3 due to the game's villain messing with space and time.

There might be some filler arcs that are skipped, but if they're skipped it generally means that it wasn't important at all. But make sure you watch the anime of part 3, not the OVA, The OVA skips a lot of things

Middle one looks the closest.
Despite that I recommend Crunchyroll for it. Part 1 and 2 aren't so bad.
Part 3 has it's irks with the censoring translation.
Part 4 will be horror

Because Technically, the Hamon Saga (part one and two) are one season. As they go by fast.
I said crunchyroll 'cause when you click on "JoJo's bizzare adventure" it starts you at episode 1, Dio the invader, of Phantom Blood.

The method of Stand activation can be a bit nebulous, but the Stand Phenomena derives from the Bow & Arrow. People struck by it either die or develop stand powers, and if a person develops the stand power, then all direct blood descendents that are alive will also manifest the power. Jotaro and Joseph manifest their abilities shortly before Stardust Crusaders because that is when Dio is struck in Jonathan's body.

Kakyoin probably came into contact with the material the bow is made from in some way, since there is no mention of his parents having these abilities.

It does not seem like people inheriting the ability to manifest stands is guaranteed, as seen with Jolyne (although she is compatible with the force enough to develop one), but it can happen (as seen with Giorno)

Part VII and VIII operate on different rules though.
