Pop culture.. If you were to take some american porn and stupidity and fat people, and have that being all that's send to Japan, they'd think of them like that. The normal parts of japan simply isnt interesting because it's normal. Other countries like Denmark, norway, sweden etc is just so normal and boring that little is represented, both negatively and positively

i actually wasnt mentioning porn at all. you brought it up. and what you described is all people think america is a lot of the time. "americas just a bunch of fat asses" were beaten out by australia in that catagory. no i dont think every japanese person is perverted. i dont think their porn is the standard. and yes the american tv host walking through japan will only show us the weird stuff but its amazing how they find it in every town worth visiting. i may be wrong but they are the ones who make and sell the most dating sims. a secent portion of which are adult rated more than likely. the fact its damn near impossible to get here but not so much there is quite a difference.

I'm talking about the image they each send out, and then porn is a filthy example. Japan's steriotype is hentai, and usa is.. I dont know, to be honest. But from america, the image seems to be mostly from the steriotypical american and some of the fatty stuff you see around. Epic meal time for an exampleI know very well that neither is the truth, as pinning down a whole country like that is impossible. . Japan just has the weirdest export of anime, hentai and manga, but I'm pretty sure their culture and fans are and get treated like it does anywhere else. But their general culture with everything is, if anything, way more decent and strict than most other places

Hmm.. So the 'at home' is on the street and such, and the 'let loose' is how people act in private? This happens with most youths in most places. But they're still more polite and taught to be so, on average that is, so I'm more interested in that, than how people act in private
