But then everyone started thinking it was terrible
I hope it happens to OPM, too. Not because I hate it (even though I really, really dislike it) but because it would probably cause a large backlash and might break the cycle (like what Undertale almost did.)
I don't quite care for the fanbase and I've never been one for jumping on anime bandwagons, I've hated nearly all of them. I thought attack on titan was just absolutely terrible and monster musune just had a massive ******* of tits and innuendo and not nearly enough plot that diverges away from your standard harem anime but for once an anime that everyone seems to love has been honestly quite enjoyable. Maybe I just like parodies that are well written. The action scenes are a good boost, too.
Sometimes bandwagons are okay, is my point. And fanmade content is usually how I discover new and enjoyable anime.
Just let em run their course and leave the actual fans to their enjoyment.
I hope you said that about every other fanbase on this site "let em run their course and leave the actual fans to their enjoyment" if not then you are a hypocrite.
I might personally find MLP distasteful and strange, and always have.
But I've never outright said **** towards getting rid of the fandom. I just ignored it and continued with my life.
If lots of people share something because they think its good, what right do I have to stop them? Especially considering I profit in entertainment off of it.
Saying that fandoms should never come to FJ is like saying people shouldn't share ideas about what they think is good.
Here's the difference. AoT wasnt a great manga to begin with and while the anime did a very good interpretation of the manga, the manga still was subpar and poorly paced. One punch man has a great manga with a great anime rendition. In cases like this it all goes back to how good the manga is
Never thought AOT was terrible, still wanting more episodes. OPM is also good.
Undertale is way outside my area of interest so I won't touch it but I guess there must be something good about it since so many like it.
I went through MLP when that started popping up, enjoyed it a lot.. I feel like it's the same sort of thing, but really just can't work up enough curiosity to give it a try. The aesthetics don't please me.
amen. they took the stupidest route to ending the Star Craft Series. I don't think Blizzard is capable of writing stories anymore. Raynor's war against Mengsk was so much more interesting than what they devolved it into. Even if the Xel naga was just and ancient race that came back to ******** up, it would have been ok. But no, they had to throw magic and other stupid **** into the story. It was insulting what they turned Tassadar into. ******* awful.
Yeah, but you'll notice that people just stopped hating it after awhile. At least, not blindly. Sure, there'll still be those assholes who will go onto Undertale posts in the Undertale channel and say "Wow, good thing admin added channel blocking :^)." And then there are the people who just dislike it, but there'll always be those.
It got close to what I'm looking for, is what I'm saying. People have started to just move on, rather than getting all butthurt about it. Almost a month after Undertale started getting shat on.
AoTs fan base slowly became cancerous. Happens to most series that become so popular. OPM is getting there. I love the series but fans ruin everything.
What, you expect them to be professionals actors? Take acting lessons? Do you have friends? Do you go outside?
Friends **** around for fun, they don't care how accurate their goofing off is, houseboy. "This is cringe." Said the friendless basement troll, who is actually cringing from being reminded that no one loves them and that they were abandoned in a basement to be forgotten.
We've been calling things cancer since the end of time, it isn't even more common now than it's ever been. And cucks has been around especially on 4chan. Also, Cringe is like 3 years old now
No, that's just because a new cancerous fanbase arose at the same time that other fanbases became cancerous (One Punch Man and that **** with Steven Universe). It's always been that common, we just see it more when a couple new fanbases get diagnosed.
"People like something popular that I don't like as much as they do! It's cancer because I don't like how many people like it!"
UT's had one of the most well-behaved of the major fandoms, period. If all you're talking about is how many are on FJ, then that's your problem right there = full-time FJ community members are ******* retarded. Congrats on your data set.
Jojo's is referred to just as often and it's a great setting and series. No one calls it cancer despite all the homoeroticism. OPM comes out, fanbase is generally just fine - then people who aren't actually fans started hopping on board for dank may may spam, after which everyone began calling OPM cancer.
If it's not cancerous, it's autistic, often both. The **** is wrong with you people?
UT acts well when interacting with others but when its each other is what we normal would see as cring but at least they keep it to themselves with teh cring
your right but that still means we use teh phrase too much if when multable annoying fanbases happen at teh same time and we refer to them as cancer. also idk whats up with the homestuck and opm fanbases being called cancer despite me being unable to find evidence of a event that make homestuck famous for cancer, people just say it is, and i havnt seen anything really bad with opm's fanbase
I can't speak for homestuck, but I know OPM just likes to insert themselves into everything. You could be discussing medieval warfare and someone comments a picture of Saitama saying it doesn't matter cause he would beat everyone. Also, on more than one occasion I've seen just the word "punch" summon unnecessary OPM comments
well bronies do the same though they get there hate for it, but most people bring there favorite series into things like how ill bring my 2hoes in though i most use them as reaction imgs and most of fj doesnt mind that do to them probably not knowing the source. but that punch thing yeah i can see how people could get annoyed though that doesnt really make it cancer more then just annoyence
That's the thing though. The term cancer is synonymous with annoyance at this point. That's why 9gag is cancer. It annoys us. That's all cancer ever really was, but just a little more in-depth.
thats why im annoyed of the use of cancer and the fact that unlike other popular words that are spamed or abused cancer most of teh time isnt used as a joke not saying words like cuck and kek are good jokes but theyre used in a joking manor and is used as just a generic hate statement
How many cocks do you suck daily?
Is there like a standard dosage of cock each day or you go all out whenever you please?
I do this for a study to see how much cock does USA suck daily, and since you seem a trustworthy person i would like your help.
I don't know what people are complaining about in the comments section
The costumes look fine and the costume quality is good enough to realize who they are cosplaying as. It would be ridiculous to expect every cosplayer be a buff dude/hot chick who spent a load of money on the costume.
I get that pretty much all anime characters are supposed to be japanese but I still think they'd look way more legit if the in-real-life versions were caucassian.
Meh. The cosplays are pretty good, but the acting honestly looks cringey and forced. I mean if you're gonna do this particular gag at least put some effort into the punches, and be man enough to take a hit for the sake of the act. If you're gonna act the part, put some life into it.
So, this show is blowing up massively. Can someone link one good scene from it? I don't want to watch a whole episode, but a scene that captivates the best of what the show has to offer.
Why did the big brother kill the little brother? Mistake / Thoughtlessness of a big brawny guy that simply instinctively answered the "Kill the guy on your shoulder" by swatting the wrong shoulder, or did he do it on purpose?
Why is the protagonist able to fly / take so much of a beating without feeling it / punch so hard?
What happens to the antagonist after the punch? Sounded like he was about to redeem himself and see the error in his ways when bam, big punch from flying dude
Its a parody of every anime trope you have heard of. Including some you haven't heard of.
We've only found one enemy that OPM couldn't take out in one punch. Everyone questions his training method 1000 PUSH UPS, 1000 SIT UPS, 1000 SQUATS, 10 KILOMETER RUN, EVERY DAY and his motivations.
1. Mistake. just complete mistake. The two minutes you saw was 2/3 minutes of that villains entire screentime. the first minute being how he came to be.
2. Because he's overpowered as **** , and no one really knows why (it's addressed in the anime that no one knows why he's so ******* strong) but it's important to note that he is by far the strongest being in the entire show.
3. He dies instantly and is never heard from again
