Wrong. You're thinking "Kemonomimi" (which translates to "animal ears"). Neko means Cat, and nothing more. Nekomimi are Cat ears, the most common type of Kemonomimi. Wolf Ears would be "Ookamimimi", but it's kind of awkward to say.

There is though a scene where she writes her name in romanji where it says "Holo" and aswell in all books its holo. but yeah for the japps it doesnt matter.
