Why can't life be like an anime? Defy physics, girls have boobs on boobs, and no matter how much time passes in between showers (see Shaman King's Tao Jun for example) women are always perfectly hairless, hair is awesome colours, eyes are so pretty, diets are immedietly effective, your love interest will ALWAYS be secretly in love with you...and you can disregard school to save the world.

In my high school, anime is as common and accepted as sports. It's considered - as it should be - a hobby: not a fetish, not cancer, not social death, not an excuse to be a retard, not a Weaboo spawner, just a hobby. I think enjoying anime, making friends with others who do, and not making a big deal about it is the best way to make your life as exciting and interesting as one.
