Speaking of prinny dood, the new disgaea is so good. I downloaded the demo to try it out, I was going to wait for the vita port but then it was announced that wasn't happening. I might get it eventually. I was very let down by the last game.
The characters are bad, almost annoying like. The gameplay is actually a step down from the previous game, I didn't even feel like finishing, while D2 I played a lot.
I've been grinding like crazy getting all my characters up to a similar level before moving on with the story because I got to the chapter where they dump like 5 new characters all at once and they're all under leveled compared to the main squad, dood.

And probably a few more than I can't be bothered remembering. PSP has a lot of great games, most of which are a kind of "hidden" gems.
I'm being a bias ass piece of crap but La Pucelle Ragnarok because I imported it and since I've played the original so many times I know what dies what even in Japanese. Also Fromt Mission 3 if it's not there.
I picked one up a few weeks back and bought MH:FU on the second day I owned it.
I've used my Vita at least an hour a day since .
The only reason I haven't bought more Vita titles is cause I dont need to yet, but there's so much good stuff on the store (if you're a fan of Japanese games, anyway). The console itself could be better, but I'm more than happy with it.
Disgaea 3 and 4 are on Vita, and 1 and 2 are available in the store for PSP emulation, dood. That's at least a couple months worth of game, probably even years considering all those games have a ******** of post game content and you can grind up to level 9999 in all the games.
If you get it for free, then that's fine, but I got fed up with that game, dood. After a while it's just "kill x number of giant robots in y amount of time" over and over and over and your entire ai team is beyond worthless, so if you have friends, play with them.
I heard it was a fairly decent Monster Hunter clone (which the Vita seems to have dozens of...although I didn't enjoy Soul Sacrifice that much), so I'm looking forward to it anyway. Even if it turns out to be boring then at least it was free like you said .
Yeah, I found out after rage quitting a level around half way through the game that I've basically been killing them wrong the entire game, dood. There's a way to jump up on individual pieces and tear off all their armor, but it doesn't hurt the enemies that much, and whenever there's only one or two giant robots on the map, the ai team does damage to it while I rip off every last limb, weapon, and armor on its body, but eventually there's three or four giant robots and the ai team actively avoids whatever giant robot I'm attacking to shoot in to the floor or whatever the hell they're doing.
Sounds a bit like Toukiden's ai. In multiple-monster hunts the ai in that game is worthless. They just go after the closest thing to them so the whole hunt lasts 5-10 minutes longer than it should.
Well hopefully with FW going free next week there's a decent enough online population to get some fun out of it before the grind sets in.
Yeah, just had to make sure I wasn't being misleading, dood. I wish they had a slot for UMD's, but as it stands, the most you can get is a discount in the store if you already owned the old disk and want to download it on the Vita, and that's only if you have a code or something, I think?
I'm guessing buy the box or disk. My PsP is still good and I got like all the physical copies of the Nippon Itchi games. All are the original case except D1.
Well I looked it up, and there actually is no way to get discounts on any of the old games because the thing they added in Japanese Vitas that let you digitally download the game for free didn't come over to the NA version, dood. I didn't have any UMDs that I particularly wanted to move over, but that kinda sucked, since I owned Disgaea 2 on the PSP.
