A lot of people have been complaining about Frieza's new form. Personally I don't get what all the fuss is about. I mean, chances are this isn't even his final form.
One of Frieza's previous forms is more similar-looking. We could assume that Cooler's final form is not really that final and he potentially could reach that smooth, lizard-ish form Frieza has.
if i remember right wasent Friezas final form suppose to be there races true form? with the other ones being limiters
so frieza enhanced his true form while cooler created a new form
so sort of like Frieza is in there races equivalent of super saiyan while coolers is there equivalent to the great ape
Meh, they're honestly just blatantly milking the franchise now. Battle of Gods was stupid, and this one looks even stupider. But I guess they'll just keep reviving dead villains and giving them new forms as long as nostalgia crazed fanboys are willing to pay to see it. GT wasn't even this ridiculous, and that's saying something.
The series is over 20 years old now with at least one video game being released per year still, and it took the first movie to be released since the end of Dragon Ball Z for you to realize that they're milking the franchise?
Y'know, you search for 'Dragonball Z Milk' and you get an awful lot of pictures of Chi-Chi. Apparently her name is similar for the kanji for milk or something.
No it's mainly because of the Latin America dub. This dub is done in Mexico, where "Chi Chi" is like a slang word for boobs, so for censorship reasons they renamed her Milk.
And Naruto is named after Ramen... even the dumbest parts of DBZ were hella influential... oh who am I kidding, it was mostly the dumbest parts that were hella influential, from the main character having a bottomless stomach (One Piece, Fairy Tail) to endless power ups and extra forms (Bleach, Naruto).
Still, My Hero Academy and Kingdom don't seem to have much, if any DBZ influence. It's really weird.
it wasent horrid, but just, why did it focus on trunks and pam with a child goku?
ss4 i thought was a brilliant way of combining the two saiyan transformations
Yeah I think they were trying to get back to DB by making goku a child again, which was a really stupid and un imaginative gimmick. If they had left Goku as an adult I think it would have been better, I mean thankfully he transforms into an adult when he goes ssj4 but that didn't even make any sense.
He looks like an Oscar, to me. Makes me wonder if Leonardo DiCaprio will show up, or something.
Also, the idea of this new form besting SSJ3 or even SSJ God is pretty crazy to me. It HAS to come from some kind of outside source, because if it's just some secret form natural to the race, then that power jump is stupid even by DBZ standards.
Ah the alternate universe freiza who may just be more powerful than the Destruction God.
As soon as they introduced the fact that there were more than one universe, you knew Dragon Ball wasn't gonna end, it was just going to get even more ridiculous
Well, they're not the same thing but in relation to the multiverse theory they are synonymous. Each timeline takes place in a separate universe, so divergent timelines are alternate universes. Also, Frieza's in this one so technically it is a divergent timeline. There is only one situation within which an alternate universe would not be a divergent timeline and that would be if at no point in the history of either universes had the universes ever shared anything in common.
ah I didn't know that. though I suppose it makes sense with Trunks coming from the future and all....
But Mr. God of Destruction Cat was saying that there are things that are so much more powerful than him, so it's gonna be interesting to see what's gonna happen
Technically the Android Saga operates on multiverse theory, where there is no intra-continual time-travel (traditional back and forth along the same timeline as seen in Red vs Blue where Church goes back in time to fix all the awful things that happen to him but his meddling is actually what causes everything bad to happen because that's just the way the timeline had always been) and there is only extra-continual time-travel (where it is impossible to go through the same events again as your presence there is a subtle change to the timeline, but a change none-the-less, meaning a new timeline).
So technically Trunks didn't come from the future, he came from an alternate universe. A far ******** one with fewer Sayajin and even fewer Sayajin arms (hue).
Here, Dragonball Z Abridged cover it pretty nicely.
It's not very smart, but when it comes to just pure skin-and-bones Shounen DBZ does deliver better than any other series. It's simple, but that's part of its charm. Later shounen mixed things up and got crazy or deep but DBZ kept it vanilla, and that's why so many people love it.
Well from some close examination it appeared to be one of his henchmen, why he would want to bring back a boss that casually slaughters his co-workers when they **** up is beyond my knowledge
i already knew frieza was a prodigy/gifted fighter but that he just didnt bother with training just kinda bothers me considering his father was more powerfull wasnt he? i mean why not try and surpass him if he knew he had such potential
Im actually starting to watch Dragonball. Ive started with the beginning of Dragonball, but i was thinking of just watching up to the end of Dragonball z. Is it worth is to watch GT or anything after that? (Kai)?
Why does Akira Toriyama like Frieza so much? Is that the last time he actually cared about DBZ or something? Frieza's been revived like 4 times by now. He came back before the Cell Saga and cut killed by trunks. He was brought back in Fusion Reborn and got killed by Gohan. Then he's shown in Hell twice, once in DBZ where he's killed by *******Pikkon, and again in DBGT where he's killed by Goku again.
Also King Cold is useless as **** . He's done literally nothing in all his appearances, where he was killed by Trunks and then punched in the stomach once by Pikkon. Also this gold form is supposed to be Frieza when he actually trains and goes "super saiyan" in a way. Every other time he's just been naturally gifted as a fighter.
