Tell him not to pilot the damn robot, he will do everything in his power to pilot it.
Though everyone was ass at him without telling him why.
(had hero treatment in 2, fall in come at end, woke up as most hated person in 3 without knowing why)
And for some reason, he lost all of his character from 2 and return to 1 (useless kids who can't think himself)

I mean he is only 14 and out the blue his estranged father whom he has not seen in years want to see him, and when he finally does it is to make him pilot a dangerous robot with no experience against a monster with god like powers. I would say he reacted pretty rationally to the situation

And I'm in that robot lickety split; I don't care if that guy's a complete stranger or Satan or what and I don't care if I die from getting stabbed in the balls a minute in.
That's a chance to do some good on a global scale. That's a chance to matter in a way I never will. And if I fail, then at least I'm the guy that died trying.
So when I see someone refuse that chance I'm going to call him a pussy, because god dammit he is one.
