Dragon Ball Races: Frost Demons
Frost Demons, also known as Frieza clansmen, Glaeris (In one obscure dub) or simply members of the Frieza race, are a relatively mysterious race in the Dragon Ball universe. While the only members of this race seen in the manga and anime are directly related to Frieza himself, information about the race in general has revealed itself in other materials, especially Xenoverse.

While Frost Demons are able to transform at will, they are not generally able to increase their full power by doing so. Instead, their transformations limit the power they are able to use at the time. Their repressed forms are much weaker than their true forms, but are easier to control and allow the user to maintain a more calm and stable demeanor, while still giving the user a trump card of sorts for combatants that believe they've surpassed the demon's power. Normally, the fact that frost demons do this is kept a fairly close secret, as even Vegeta was not told of Frieza's ability to d so himself.

Despite this normal limitation, two transformations that increase the power of the user have been witnessed from this race. Frieza's golden form, which is also known as ultimate evolution, exponentially increases the user's power, enough to the point that Frieza goes from badly losing to base Goku to being clearly superior to Goku's super saiyan god super saiyan form (Honestly, I'm just going to call it MSSJG if it's okay with you guys, **** this name). While this form drains stamina like a ************ , it's likely that it can be trained to the point of basically no burden with time. While this form has only been witnessed as golden and purple in color, Frieza himself implies that the form's appearance is a choice of the user, and he chose gold in order to mock Goku over his own surpassing the strength of a super saiyan, as well as asserting himself as intergalactic royalty. This form is achieved by intense training and determination.
The form Cooler uses to increase his power, known as super evolution, is much less of a boost in power. However, this form can much more quickly gather energy, has armor to protect the chest and head, and is much less of a power sink than ultimate evolution. It's not known how this form is achieved, as it's only seen being used by Cooler himself.
Frost Demon names, as might be gathered by the very name of the race, tend to be based off of cold temperatures, as seen in the likes of Cooler and King Cold. This is in reference both to the race's unique abilities and the cold, unfeeling nature of the race's more popular members. One notable exception exists (Not counting the people who name their characters after hot stuff in Xenoverse, thinking they're clever), in the form of Frieza's son, Kuriza. While his name clearly calls to his father's, it also takes from Kuri, which is Japanese for chestnut (As well as the basis for Krillin's name in the manga, Kuririn). Kuriza is technically non-canon as far as we know, but so is Cooler and at this point we're in too deep to go back, so **** it.
Despite the common belief that Frieza and his brother are constantly in the nude, this is only kind of correct. Frost Demons are capable of creating bio armor out of bony tissue, and when they would otherwise be wearing nothing they are always seen using this armor. This armor is still able to receive and respond o the user's thoughts, as it is seens shifting in form and even color as the "wearer" transforms.
Due to members of this race constantly insisting they should "wear clothes" and "why the **** do you want me to get naked you filthy earthling", we have absolutely no idea what is going on with these guys' southern regions. While it is known that King Cold spawned both of his sons asexually, it is possible that this is only due to the mutations that the entire family has been said to suffer. However, since a female member of the race has never been seen, it's likely that this is the case for all of them.
Frost Demons possess two abilities that stand out from the normal aliens seen in the Dragon Ball universe. For one, they can survive in nearly any environment without trouble. The vacuum and near absolute-zero temperature of outer space are not even enough to make them think twice about stranding themselves outside of the range of the nearest planet, which is useful for destroying planets. The second ability, which is only slightly less impressive, is durability that would make a Nokia 3310 blush. Frieza has been cut in half and exploded, and Cooler has been burned to the point of non-existence, surviving only as a fraction of a head before being fused with the Big Ghetto Star. Why or how a race would evolve the ability to survive without being able to move or even give up and die is anyone's guess.
Not as unique, but still worth note, is the race's ability to extend their tails to lengths far beyond their own heights. While the extent of this ability is not known, Frieza has been seen to expand his dong tail to be more than twice his own size, and quickly retract it so as not to leave it open for attack. This ability is useful for grappling and striking, and, like the Namekian arm stretch, is forgotten pretty much all the time by everyone.
The name Frost Demon, while coined by the **** webcomic Dragon Ball Multiverse, was made canon by Cell's line at the beginning of a fight with a player character in Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and then never mentioned by anyone again ever.
Despite confusion among fans, Arcosians and Frost Demons are not one and the same. Arcosians are non-canon and actually appeared in the anime before Frieza himself did in the manga.
Obligatory Frost Demons are the best race.
Seriously, play one in Xenoverse, the ki blast stun thing is overpowered as **** , just ignore all the teenagers playing as black and red ones.
