Here's the thing you animefags don't understand.

II will never like anime. To me it's basically just a Japanese animation, and I see no reason why it should have it's own category. But I keep that to myself because I know you enjoy the stuff.

What I do like is stuff blowing up with the majesty of the big bang. I like seeing people becoming gods of power and speed. I like seeing characters I like become more and more powerful to the point that they could wipe out cities, countries, planets or galaxies. That's why I like DBZ, Naruto, and whatever the hell else.

I will never claim to like anime, I will never claim that I'm a real anime fan, I will never become some autistic weeaboo that hangs out at comicons at the DBZ booth saying Mirai Nikki or any other anime is crap.

Just leave me to what I like because I like it.

dbz is only good if you can watch it in a marathon

To be honest, I never got into DBZ. For me, it was always about fight scenes for several episodes. I was about 8 at the time, and I was a little nerdykid, so I changed the channel to Catalyst and learnt science-y stuff. A few months ago, I went to watch it again, but I didn't get into it either. The characters didn't really appeal to me, and I couldn't be bothered watching 300+ episodes (I'm a lazy weaboo like that).

i firmly believe in that theory which suggests that the reason that a fight or something like it takes so many episodes to complete is because it's slowed down for our non saiyan/bad-ass eyes to be able to see it
if i remember right, there's an episode in the Cell Games arch that supports this theory
