I'd recommend not tearing it off. Do you lack the proper tools to remove it? Get a banana for scale.

the spring is probably ****** up that winds up the pull string, so it's not pulling it back in. I'd used a drill or hammer/screwdriver to get the rivets out, then **** with it. If you get it working you can probably buy some screws that'll fit and screw it on. What's the worst that can happen, it's already broken.

Well so long as it's not the main anchor for a protective piece of equipment that would need to be re-installed upon reassembly I don't see any problem with ripping it off.

That's a rivet, has to be "punched" out or just drill through it. Allen key is not the answer

once a rivet is pulled out, it cant be re used, you'd have to re rivet the casing back on. or just leave it off depending on what its covering, looks like a pull starter casing?

yes thats exactly what it is. the pullstring is stuck so my thinking something is getting it jammed

On your mower, is the pull assembly in the casing? or on the motor? like so. Could be a jam of organic material or a bad coil spring (which ravels up the string).

Man, I dunno about removing the starter assembly any further unless you have rivets to put it back on firmly. seems to just be locked up, unfortunately not to many solutions to your problem if its an internal issue (gears, springs n' ****)

Im not saying give up hopes, but there's little to do to that certain mechanism. I wish I could physically help, over the internet sucks. I love fixing things. I'd say look at it, **** around with it and look online till you find a plausible solution.

I hate his anime reviews. He doesn't even review anime. He reviews the ******* studios and the author of the source material. Like, *****, if you enjoyed it, rate it highly. If you didn't, don't. It's simple as that. No need to overanalyze **** to the point where you hate something because you're "not allowed" to enjoy it.

Ask yourself this question: Why do people review movies, cartoons, kid shows, video games?

Because they are genres we like and people review them so we know what's good and what's bad. People just think "oh, this person is reviewing anime? What a ******* weeaboo" "Oh this guy is reviewing video games? **** yeah!" Only difference is one is more socially acceptable than the other, although both genres have people that make fans look bad.

I did. Whoops. Though toward your comment: reviewers look at the people responsible for the content, animation, and music of the anime. If those elements kind of suck, usually the story becomes less interesting. It works for video games, as you could have terrible graphics but have a good game. Not so much in anime.

It might have some correlation to the average quality of the content produced, but it by no means limits what the content can be. I don't like DouchebagChocolat's reviews because he constraints his opinion of an anime based on the people responsible. It's kind of like saying a criminal can never do a good thing in his life again. It's likely the case, but not a certain truth.

Eh, I wouldn't really say that. From what I've seen so far, yes, he does do reviews on the studio and/or the author, but he also gives his impressions about the different anime for the season, whether you should watch it or not, etc as well. I'd say he does a little bit of both tbh lol.

I'm not talking about his impressions. Those are actually pretty good imo. I'm talking about his actual serious reviews of anime. I feel like he focuses way too much on things that aren't directly related to enjoyment of an anime.
