First things first.

Grades are ******* important. Try to have 90% minimum in each class. That guarantees a 4.0/4.0 GPA. You can get some scholarships with that. Years 11 and 12 are REALLY IMPORTANT. So study. For the love of god study.
>Muh admissions and exams
You can choose ACT or SAT. I only did SAT. There are some practice things online that will help you with preparing and since you are grounded why not give it a go. (If you have TI-84 calc. it will save you soooo much time on the exam, but be careful as there are rumors that calculators might get banned completely). SAT is English writing, understanding and Math. Math is College algebra level so you shouldn't dear anything. First thing on SAT is an Essay. Pick a topic and STICK TO ONE SIDE. Your American examiners love it when you defend a point to your death. Keep the eye on the time and the rules. A score that is 1600 or more is a good score. I got 1720 and I suck at English. 1600 will guarantee you a good academic scholarship.
Meanwhile look up collegeboard.org and find a nice college for yourself. It is also SAT registration site. as for ACT it has 4 areas but I don't know anything about it.

Your taxes and FAFSA. I am not kidding. You country will give you free money because you are poor but have good grades. You got good SAT and good grades = good Academic. But also sports. ANY SPORT WILL GIVE YOU A SMALL CHANCE OF SCHOLARSHIPS.
P.S. Find a low wage job and work. Join a NON SOCIAL frat. That **** looks good on resume. Be on good terms with your administration staff.
Liberal arts VS Technical.
One makes you a better person, the other makes you a better worker.
It's up to you which one you choose.
Also do not drink or smoke pot. It hinders your progress.
