Oh sweet baby jesus i love this movie, it was so hard trying to watch it the first time since i had to choose whether i wanted to watch the amazing animation or read the text.
Yea really, there are only a few shows i prefer dubs over subs, this might be one. Now i have to go and download a dual audio or dub version since all i have is a subbed
Redline had a messy plot, poor resolution, but the animation quality is admirable I suppose. It gets way too much praise riding on "rule of cool". It's not that it's bad, it just isn't nearly as amazing as everyone tries to make it out to be.
Why the **** would I bait? Do I look like a troll account? It's called an opinion based on fact and experience. The seven years things isn't because it took seven years for them to draw it, it is because production hell. The plot is superfluous, it only exists to frame the animation, which isn't unheard of in the slightest but makes it hard to understand why people would praise it. Like I said in my first comment, the plot really falls apart by the end where they seemingly give up on trying to make sense and Machine Head suddenly can mega-nitro-fusion, Jaypee can as well because power of love and THAT TOKEN ITEM HINTED AT IN AN EARLIER SCENE, and he wins on the grounds of being a protagonist.
The hand drawn thing is a mistake as well. All anime is hand drawn first (storyboarding, concept, etc), but just like with redline it is made into digital animation. All the fact tries to draw attention too is that a huge number of key frames were drawn for the film. I cannot find any sources saying that Redline was animated on cells, and the look of the film doesn't support this idea either.
So like I said before " It gets way too much praise riding on "rule of cool". It's not that it's bad, it just isn't nearly as amazing as everyone tries to make it out to be. "
CITATION NEEDED
Also, you said the animation quality is admirable "I suppose". Lol.
It's not opinion on it's quality. Compared to most CGI plastered **** you see today, it's nothing short of ******* amazing.
Captain Earth was a modern TV anime (far less budget than a movie) that avoided CG nearly entirely from what I remember. But that had an even messier story and rightfully gets less praise despite having many impressive scenes like webm related. And as for the cell animated thing, I still am unable to find a reputable source that says it isn't digital.
As for the CG, when was the last time you noticed CG cars in a TV anime? They still do it, but only cheap companies get caught doing it. The issue isn't CG, it is money and time. Redline was given a lot of money and time, that is the only difference.
>Aldnoah zero
>Alot of other **** that had money thrown at it
Dunno what the hell you were trying to say with the captain earth **** .
Story was gud, ending was kinda corny but I can live with it, soundtrack is ******* amazing, and the characters were good.
A/Z is by A1 and they don't exactly have a stunning track record. Not to mention it is **** for a lot of other reasons besides "muh CG mechs". And "a lot of other **** " is wow, literally nothing.
What I was trying to say with CE was this, but I forgot the damn webm.
Yes, but A/Z still had alot of cash behind it and used CG mechs everywhere. Which is one of the reasons that it sucks balls.
I'm not gonna spend half an hour making a list of animes/movies with **** CG.
Yes, that webm is well animated. Point being?
The point is that a cheaper product looked just as good. The point is that visuals are the skeleton, and everything else is the rest of the body. Someone can have a good skeleton and be malnourished as **** , an anime can have good animation and be mediocre as **** in all other regards.
Both CE and Redline fit the bill for the last description is my point. It's the point I have been trying to make from the beginning.
>Looked just as good
>One clip
>Implying every frame looked good
>no
Redline's plot and premise were Good and okay respectively, the ending was meh but forgivable, but the soundtrack was pree fookin gr8 m8.
There's no objectivity about the animation. It's ******* stellar and there's really nothing like it at this time.
Redline's plot wasn't messy, it was good. I enjoyed the story but that's my opinion.
The soundtrack was great, again, that's less subjective and more objective.
You're the one who failed to explain why the plot was messy in the first place,
and why the animation quality wasn't anything short of insanely good.
I didn't post the video because I didn't think too. I'm not usually into anime but this one got my attention. I imagine there are a lot of us out there who wouldn't think to post the video. That doesn't make us faggots. Just not that much into anime. If you want to be one, congrats, you are one because the only requirement is the desire to be one.
I t seems a little strange that a faggot would click on a video featuring anime of hot sexy girls. If it was guys, that would be understandable but girls? But it does remind me of a post of a guy's room I saw while back that had this kind of anime on his walls but he looked like a bi-phag. Oh, that's it, bi-phag!
The only official Touhou products are a few bullet hell games and the music. Otherwise, everything Touhou, including the anime, other games, and videos are all fan-made, but for the best quality stuff, you want that. The crator of the Touhou series is a music writer and programmer. He's said before he knows he's not great at art and thanks to his love of his fans, there are SO many good Touhou products out there. en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Touhou_Wiki The wiki will give you access to pretty much everything you need or at least get you started. Even the aimes are all fanmade: Here's one of my favorites though, www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgnlusEnpO0
