The Hitachiin twins, Hikaru and Kaoru, are supposed to be the same height but when the club members are gathered around a picture of Haruhi, one twin is drawn taller than the other.

Each host club member has a specific colour of rose shown at the end of an episode, Tamaki = Green, Hikaru = Peach, Kaoru = Blue, Honey = Pink, Mori = Navy, Kyoya = Purple and Haruhi = Red. Their phone colours also match their rose colours.

Ryoji Fujioka, Haruhi's father, was 6 years younger than Haruhi's mother, Kotoko, he met her when he was 19 years old and she was 25. Haruhi was born when Ryoji was 20 and Kotoko was 26.
Tamaki's view of Haruhi as his daughter is a defense mechanism known as sublimation where unacceptable feelings are moved to a more appropriate framework so the individual can maintain a particular relationship or situation which would otherwise be considered inappropriate.
Mori's English voice actor, Travis Willingham, is married to Kanako Kasugazaki's English voice actor, Laura Bailey.

Although female, Haruhi refers to herself with the Japanese pronoun "boku" which is usually only used by males.
"Heil Zuka club!" is an obvious parody of "Heil Hitler!", the flag has the same red, white and black colours but has the kanji for "female" instead of the Swastika. They are literally feminazis.
