Oda said in his latest interview that he is 100% certain a new person will join the Straw Hats in the Dressrosa arc.

1 After the injuries he sustained that you have often seen he died.
2 His powers include having a great 'stache, beast like body, and the power to control tectonic movement and cause earthquakes.

It's because almost every picture you have seen of him his from a single battle. The only battle we see him actually participating in. His powers (Causing earthquakes) have nothing to do with the amount of injuries he received.

That's what made him one of the greatest characters of One Piece even though we didn't have enough time to grow lo love him.

He was at the end of his life (sickness and old age), he was stabbed in the back by one of his own, the total number of sword wounds he received in this battle was 267. He was shot by 152 bullets. And was hit by 46 cannonballs and had half his face blown off. In that one battle. Despite that, he wrecked havoc on the battlefield and started a New Pirate Age with a single declaration.

He died standing on his feet.

I rarely think Anime is able to provide great pieces of art, but the way Oda weaved Whitebeard's character just in the end of a single arc from scratch was masterful. We won't forget him any time soon.

OK speculation time. Who do you think is joining the strawhats. Personaly i dont think it will be law becuase he still has his own crew and choppers the ships doctor. i think it will be the toy soldier or possibly the guy dressed as a baby frankie fights. I also think there might be 2 others that could possibly join them. sabo or one of the little dwarf people. But at this point its all gusing. Hell maybe even belimie might join

Not going to be the toy soldier for reasons that the manga bring to light, I'm thinking it will be fishman barrier bro, or sabo. Personally I am hoping for Sabo, cause another OP crew member is what they need, plus they were childhood friends and now has Ace's old power. But since he is in the revolutionary army I kinda doubt he will join the strawhats

Sabo's doing his own **** for Dragon though, although i guess he could join for a bit like Vivi did but i don't think he'll be able to stay. Plus he's probably too over-powered

Agreed, still would love it though if he did. Also Zoro is basically captain lvl strong so I don't think being over powered would be too much of an issue. A great thing would be if the Strawhats had a few more people join so they started to get a real crew instead of a small team

yeah, but they haven't done anything yet. To suddenly join out of nowhere wouldn't make sense. People assume because Luffy had said 10 crew members at the beginning of the series it was always going to be 10. In truth the show was going to end a long time ago, but due to its unexpected popularity Oda increased the story/plot/length of the series into an epic.

we have: Luffy,Zoro,Usopp,Nami, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Brooke, Franky. 9 members, however that's a lot of men in comparison to women, so my guess is a woman will join to add to the ships ratio and Sanji's nosebleed. Violet is also a contender in my eyes, but let's just await and see. Also, huge fan of OP, hence my name kaizoku. (japanese for pirate) this show introduced me to anime when it first aired when I was 12. I am in too deep over 15 years to quit now. fml

Let's break it down. The Three Great Weapons: Poseidon, Pluton, Uranus (Shirahoshi, Blue Prints used by Franky and implemented into The Sunny's Ship, and Dragon [ability to control weather]) will be used to accomplish this. The base of Marijoe will need to be destroyed, causing the mountain and Mariejoe itself to fall onto fishmen island, destroying it, thus adding credence to Madam Sharley's prediction. Noah will be used by Shirahoshi to transport the citizens far away from that calamity ahead of time, Uranus (who the **** knows, wind and **** ) will help those unequipped to ride away and evacuate via calm belt, *my guess*) It is just a matter of getting to Raftel that houses the final Ponyglyph detailing the truth of the void century. Once destroyed and connected, the crazy of the grand line and its weather phenomenon and log poses will go away and the seas will be safe and easy to travel again.

bellamy is definitely possible as is law considering the hearts pirates true objective was to thrust Law into power as a warlord, in a plot to over throw Doflamingo. Once that mission is accomplished there is no telling what he will do. One arm and all. Can't wait until the arc finishes.

ace didn't so much join as he was abducted, and the Spade Pirates did join the Whitebeard pirates later. I could see bart becoming the start of luffy's fleet, now they're in the new world I could see the straw hat's expanding their reach like the four emperors do.

The minion that Luffy defeated and Sabo are both candidates along with Jinbei and Law. They honestly need more women though. Someone new is guaranteed to be join or at least be invited after Luffy saves a woman. Saves Nami, Nami Joins. Saves Vivi, Robin Joins. Saves Robin, Franky Joins. Saves the Mermaid princess, Jinbei invited and he promised to join later. Saves Rebecca, maybe another invited or but definitely some one will join the crew.
