Bonus Whitebeard fact: In his earlier appearances in the series, Whitebeard had a somewhat regular laugh. Later, his laugh was changed to a more iconic "Gurarararara!" sound. This is in reference to his Devil Fruit power, the Gura Gura no Mi, roughly translated to "Tremor Tremor Fruit."

Zoro was first planned to be Buggy's (who was first called Boogie) bodyguard.
Ace was going to be a girl named Ann.
Going Merry was a ship created by Meri. She looks like a lamb because of 'Mary had a Little Lamb. Both Going Merry and Merry Go is correct translation, but Going Merry is more popular.
None of the officer Baroque Work agents meet each other before Alabasta arc.
"Baroque" art style is associated with dramatic and elaborate, which is why the Baroque Work pairs are over-the-top with their themes.
Bon Clay is still alive
Doflamingo was original going to be a rapper.
Shanks and Buggy always argued on which was colder, the South or North Pole, when they were young. According to Oda, Antarctic is a continent while Arctic is just a mass of ice; land is colder than frozen sea, so South Pole is colder. This was answered in one of the SBS sections.

I've been following the manga and the anime for many years now, but the fact about Devil Fruit users not growing up just doesn't add up. Think only of Luffy, he's been growing up normally, same with Robin and other DF users. So what's the deal with Sugar, I never really got it. Unless it depends on the fruit?

So yeah, sugar just looks 10 because of the effects of the Hobi Hobi no Mi.
And the wiki pagee about devil fruits doesn't even mention aging.

Oda said he finished planning where the story will go a while back. after the alabasta arc i think. He even told the rest of the story to a kid who was dying of a terminal disease and wanted to know what would happen.

its somewhat both...and the hints are the void century,the formation of the world goverment,prophecies made by the mermaid mistress a few connections made with the maps and a lot of hints dropped by the characters in the show.

ok so the common theory comes from a video that was like 10 minutes long so i wont go into details and since you are only asking for hints i wont be spoiling the whole thing for you. but think about the overall theme of the series, whitebeards last words before his death,about the prophesy that luffy got after his visit to the mermaid city thats name i already forgot, the positioning of the city,the specifics of the "weapons of mass destruction" left behind by the kingdom that ruled in the void century and the dreams of luffys crewmates. all these points towards one specific goal/event

well a major spoiler in spoilers that spoils the possible ending of the show.

the theory goes that one piece is uniting the oceans. this would cause the destruction of the mermaid city(that name i still cant recall),the creation of all blue, more freedom for people to travel,calm the anomalies at red sea(making it more pleasant place to live an fulfills namis wish to be able to travel the world and make her map) and overall makes the world more pleasant place. there is a video that went onto details about the whole theory...i could try find it again if you want.

He did and he actually stated it. He recently said that it won´t happen, tho, as he thinks he won´t be able to finish it in just as many chapters so it´ll probably go on a bit longer then planned. The end of OP is actually already completely planned out, Oda told it to another mangaka and some cancer-ridden kid as far as I know.

You're forgetting that for this scenario to even occur there would have to be a RIDICULOUSLY good reason for Luffy to make such an order. The only scenario IO can think of is if the life of another crew member is in danger as a result.

Yes, Zoro wouldn't kill a member if Luffy ordered him to without a good reason, but that's a pointless argument because what we and Zoro know of Luffy is he wouldn't make such an order without that reason.
