The markings on Kakuzu’s forearms suggested he'd been in prison at some point as such tattoos were used during the Edo period of Japan to identify criminals according to the institution they were in, he is also pretty darked skinned which was a big hint too.

Obito makes several cameos before his actual appearance. He is seen in a picture of Team Minato on the cover of Chapter 16, the 3rd Hokage thinks of him in Chapter 122/Episode 72, there is also a flashback of him when mentioned by Hiruko in Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Will of Fire.

Its entirely the writing that made me hate it. It's so sloppy like no one proof read it ever. The main characters are such knockoffs of DBZ ones. Most of them developed on a wheel where they just reverted back to what they were at the start. The writer seemed to like to punish those who actually were trying to make sense of the show with how he seemed to put fan service over logic but was being serious. It struck that he knew how he wanted the story to end but completely ignored the way he developed the plot leading up to that ending. Speaking of the endnig, none of them are admitting it but the fans are basing their final opinion of the show on pairings. So they're just like Twilight fans. The fans of the pairings that didn't happy denounce the show, but for the wrong reasons, and the fans of the pairings that did continue to live in this fantasy that the show was good.

I was taught in my Japanese class that すき meant like and だいすき meant love or really like.
is that wrong, or does it just not carry the same connotation in casual conversation.

you are right but daisuki is said alot even when saying you really like something, suki is even more casual. when confessing people use daisuki but Naruto is ultra dense and didn't realise she was confessing but rather saying she "liked him" in a friendly manner.

If Hinata wanted to make it completely obvious she could've said ********** which is love in a romantic way or ********* , also romantic but can be used towards family members or love for something like a country. Not many young people use ********** or ********* but confess using daisuki even though its more widely and commonly used as a form of expressing like for something.

TL;DR Dai(suki) = like of something, commonly used for younger people confessing
********* = more romantic, used for family members too but rarely
********** = very romantic

I maybe wrong, as I was a pretty ****** student and its been a few years since I was in Japanese class.


BUT... I'm fairly sure Daisuki is used for saying you either REALLY like something, or you love something whereas suki or something is used to say you just like something.

So if I wanted to say like I like pizza:
Watashi wa pizza(idk what the word for pizza is in japanese)(also cant remember the right particle to use here) suki desu
If I wanted to say I love pizza:
Watashi wa pizza daisuki desu.

Pretty sure that is right, but if I'm wrong someone correct me.

nah you can say you really like foods, or really anything. (like, 'I really like that outfit!') I presume since Naruto was hella oblivious he probably thought Hinata was just giving him some encouragement sorta like "well I like you" because he had a hard time getting everyone else to acknowledge him.

I can't really remember the difference between daisuki, ********* , and koi suru either, but I think what you said was right.

Also, the Japanese word for pizza is pi-za, and the particle you're looking for is ga.

Naruto gets a lot of hate, but i still watch every episode. I still believe it's interesting enough to watch for 25 mins out of every week. I hate most filler but i liked the recent kakashi filler and this chunin exam filler seems pretty interesting. I really just want to see the end of the real story by now tho.

I figured the explanation for Hinata's confession being ignored was more along the lines of Naruto flipping out. He didn't really remember what happened when he got all 'Kyuubified' against Deidara and Orochimaru, at least. But Kishi probably just didn't know what to do with it and made the 'daisuki' excuse.

Kakuzu was a really big criminal from his village, I think. I'm not sure if it was explained what he did, but he's pretty trigger happy with killing people. It's likely he murdered someone he shouldn't have and got stuck in jail since no one could figure out how to kill him.

Sakura would be the worst Ninja instructor since she'd never put any real effort into training her students and would only teach them how to be useless. She'd teach them how to heal paper cuts and then that yelling really loud makes you seem important. I wonder if I've become known for my dislike of that character yet?

The other two would, at least, have effort in training their students and Naruto could use multiple shadow clones to teach each student individually to improve their strengths.
