This Anime Fact comp has Kuroko's Basketball anime and manga spoilers, if you don't want to spoil it for yourself then I suggest you skip the comp.

On the first character poll, Kuroko ranked 1st with 2625 votes, he won again in the second poll with 2242 votes.

Kagami in his original character design had a completely different hairstyle, instead of red, he had black hair with a wide stripe of blonde in the center, his hair was also short and spiky. His name was Shigehiro Akiwara to begin with.
Kagami's nickname is Baka-gami which translates to Kagamidiot. Aomine was similarly given a nickname relating to his stupidity but this time by fans who call him Aho-mine, "aho" meaning stupid for you non weeaboos.

In Kuroko no Basket: Game of Miracles it was shown Kagami is popular with college girls who often call him cute.

Kise dislikes earthworms and finds them disgusting.

Aomine hates bees after being stung by one. Similarly, Momoi dislikes frogs but she only gained the fear after Aomine put a frog on her head making her cry.

Aomine resembles Keigo Atobe from the anime/manga "Prince of Tennis" in terms of arrogance and abilities as an all-rounder, they also share the same voice actor, Junichi Suwabe.

In the Kuroko no Basket novel "Replace", it is shown Murasakibara and Kuroko got along very well during their early years at Teiko, it was their different opinions on basketball which led them to clash, this made Kuroko the teammate Murasakibara fought with the most. Kuroko still said he likes Murasakibara as a person.

At the time when Akashi's face hadn't yet been revealed, he sometimes appeared very mysterious and cool with his face covered e.g. throwing a shogi piece in the air and catching it dramatically, this was made fun of in the bloopers where he failed to catch the piece among other dramatic intimidating actions going wrong.
When first entering Teiko, Akashi was 158cm in height.

Himuro is extremely popular with girls. In the manga his teammates are often jealous and mentioned he often receives love letters, even receiving one off the cleaning lady at their school. In replace III, Himuro was fought over by two kindergarten girls who both wanted him to be their husband when playing house. Fukui also said how Himuro's appeal was a little too universal as he somehow manages to attract all ages, just call him the moe magnet.

It was revealed the Kuroko was the gatekeeper of the 2nd gate of the “Zone”, his nature and ability of misdirection allows him to open the 2nd gate. When the gate is opened, the Zone relies on co-ordination play, the users teammates must sync their play styles with them, Aomine couldn’t open the 2nd gate due to his lack of team play and his individual play as an ace. Kuroko is also the person standing in front of Aomine’s gate.
