When Cowboy Bebop was aired on Adult Swim, "Cowboy Funk" was one of three episodes (the others being "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Waltz for Venus") that were not televised. This episode went unaired due to the 9/11 incident and the resemblance of the Twin Towers that Teddy Bomber targets. The episode did air during the second run of Cowboy Bebop on Adult Swim but it did not run on the day it was supposed to, February 14th, 2002. Adult Swim apparently made a mistake and aired the wrong episode, "Brain Scratch". "Cowboy Funk" aired the next evening.

This one seems a bit odd to me... I mean would she really be 'too smart' when compared with L who is supposed to be someone that the FBI amongst other organisations would turn to when they can't figure out what's going on?

Actually, from what I read about what the writer thought, L wasn't nearly as smart as Light. The real reason he was able to get under Light's skin was because the guy went a little crazy with power and got a bit reckless, but also because L always second guessed himself and was extremely cautious. The constant second guessing allowed him to go for things that wouldn't be as obvious to others, such as the connection between victims.

Well to be fair, in the prequel "Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases" (it's a light novel), L seeks out for her help in order to deal with a serial killer nicknamed "BB".

He chooses her because he claims that she is a "skilled investigator" and he entrusts her to investigate several murder scenes. The thing that is so special about BB though is that he is as intelligent (or nearly as intelligent) as L (they explain why this is so in the book). So the fact that L picks her out of all the other FBI investigators is something pretty big I'm guessing.

It's an excellent read if you're a Death Note fan!

Alright, so about that first "fact" about Pokemon...

So what? At least one person has said something about the main character being trapped in their mind/subconscious about essentially every series, especially cartoons, that has ever existed. It's not clever, it's not unique, it's not interesting, it's not witty, it's not mind-blowing, and it's not worth putting in a "fact" comp.

Want to know why Ash doesn't age? Because he's a freaking mascot of the Pokemon series. He's a pretty damn well-seasoned character that is inseparable from the brand. How many children cartoons DO have characters that age? Is every single cartoon main character stuck inside their minds? Or maybe it just makes logical sense to keep realistic aging out of the cartoon formula?
