I'm gonna call bs on the one about an episode of anime having an average of 200,000 people work on it, unless someone has sauce. Even Avatar, the incredibly complexly made CGI film, only had 2900 people work on it for it's entire length. Iron Man? 3310. Avengers? 2700. Golden Compass? 2300. We aren't talking about an anime studio's employees at this point, they are giving credit for the actual work to everyone from the writers to that one guy who three years ago sold one of the writing assistants a donut.

Yeah. I've not been a big fan of the tank meta jungle. It's what pushed me to top..... Where I learned how to tank properly (Gnar OP). And now I can tank jungle. Out of necessity.

Still can't Maokai. I don't get that damn tree.

Well yeah, his damage mitigation makes him quite a worth while tank though for his entire team. He has two forms of slowing, and a root. Over-all his kits entirely solid for an actual good person to soak the damage. The only reason someone would even question his use is because other tanks have large aoe stuns (Sej, Amu, Sion( technically..) , etc. )

Though with his W doing percentile damage now, it makes him a bit stronger to compete with the rest (Rest meaning Sejuani)

Although I am one of those scumbags. One of my top mains is the devil himself (Teemo). I want to practice some Malzahar top, though. I have trouble whenever I'm matched against him.

I have a friend trying to main Teemo top, I keep trying to explain to him how it just won't work out no matter how hard you try later in the ELO tree.
Though Malzahar top would certainly be annoying, I don't think it'd be viable unless your opponent is playing a champion who has no aggression which would be odd for a top. Even a Sion has quite a bit of damage if he maxes his E first, on my smurf account I just stack E and yell at people to death... It looks hilarious.

Well, it's a little different when you only play normals. I'm not committed enough to play ranked. If I was going to do that, I would have to put effort into doing well at it.

As for Teemo top, I like to confuse people. I go AP Carry Teemo with a Runaan's and Will of the Ancients making up the heart of my build. Laning phase is a little weak, but in teamfights you can really shred people and have pretty good sustain. It also makes for a great split push build. Most people just build straight AP Teemo and rely on heavy Q and Shroom damage and that's what people expect when they face a teemo. That's much easier to counter.

I'm a bit confused on the will, seeing as it's spell vamp will never amount to anything for Teemo's smell health pool - and I honestly think AS/AP Teemo is more dangerous than raw AP Teemo, I hate to be that guy but you might like this build; Lane: Nashors -> Boots -> Liandrys -> Void -> Ruunan -> Death cap it takes a bit to get up but once you get it up and running the damage you do is disturbing, however a new build i've been using for Teemo consist of replacing Void staff with Sated devourer, seeing as i'm proccing two poison hits constantly with the 60~ magic damage given by Devourer.

You'd be surprised how much difference that spell vamp could make. Especially since his passive e feeds it. And with the runaan's it's almost doubled. It's almost like having a bloodthirster.

That build does look very good. The Nashor's can be extremely deadly on Teemo, but I like to rush the runaan's (probably a mistake, but I want to have it if teamfighting breaks out early). What is sated devourer? Are you sure you have that item name right?

Hunters Machete -> Stalkers Blade -> Stalkers blade w/ Devour, once you get 30 stacks it turns into Sated.

However, if Teemo's getting hit by anything, I really don't think your spell vamp will save you. Might as well stack the damage and come in for the easy penta with AP/AS Ruunans, right?

Well, that's going to happen regardless if you get caught out by the whole enemy team. But I have a pretty conservative approach when I play him this way. It's basically like having a second ADC. It's a pretty team dependent build, admittedly, but so are a lot of tops. It's not for everyone, sure.

My spell vamp has saved me plenty of times, I assure. you. It's quite frustrating for them. It's hard to burst this Teemo build in a 1v1.

As for the Sated, that would require me to give up my teleport or flash to pick up the smite to buy hunter's. To me, that doesn't sound like a good trade. Just IMO. Maybe if it was a mid build, seeing as Smite Ez is a thing, but it wouldn't make sense for top.

It'd definitely need to just focus on a group characters with a pretty well set-up background in their lore. Or 'slice of life', where they have episodes with random champions doing shenanigans.

It isn't right sorry about that. When I do these comps I use facts that I've only seen 2+ times to try and avoid using incorrect facts, I'd seen this one quite alot so I assumed it was correct. The average amount that work on an anime episode is 2,000 but that varies a little depending on budget, how many studios work on the anime etc.

2000 still seems high, but it's more reasonable than thinking a small city's worth of animators have to team together to make 1 episode of anime.

To put it this way, lets assume the animation is 60fps and 20min long. Not counting credits because they're reused, and not subtracting still shots where a frame can be used more than once.

60 <seconds in a minute
20x <minutes
72000 <frames per episode

With 200000 people working on a single episode that's nearly 3 people per idividual frame...

But when you think about the amount of different jobs there are it starts to add up, a single frame takes alot of work, you've got layout designers, the digital painters, the clean-up team, the actual animators, CGI, SFX, frame supervisors, camera movement, editors. Then you've also got the directors, the producers, the writers, composer(s) and all the voice actors.

Every show is different though so 2,000 is a rough amount, the larger the budget the more people there are going to be, the higher the quality of animation the more people are going to work on it, like studio ghibli for example who spent months on the first few frames of the opening sequence of Ponyo and 3 years doing hand drawn cells for princess mononoke.

I'm not going to defend what they did because I don't like it either, but you should know that the new champions do have alot of lore, it's just not shown in the launcher screen.
If you look online, you'll see almost all the new champions have alot of lore behind them in some form of media, like azir's rise of shurima video reveal page or ekko's comics.
