To be honest, I'm pretty confident it's just a comfort blanket. Honestly no one, not even a character in this particular anime, would really believe in a real situation that this would be useful.

Considering that she has hardcore PTSD, it most likely is a comforter, like the psychological effect of wearing a seatbelt or a helmet on a motorcycle.

Also considering her PTSD comes from using a gun on someone and not rather being shot at, that adds to my theory more.

The way it joins his hip. The problem is that it's something that you miss if you aren't looking at where the image cuts off. Basically, he either as a ridiculously long femur or he dislocated his hip and femur to achieve that position.

It looks a little awkward, but not inaccurate. Your knee goes up to your shoulder in that position, I think he's just a lanky **** , and has tight pants.

It might be that, but I can't see the bone going in correctly. The more I look at it, the wronger it seems. They might have just drawn him at an odd angle, but his torso just seems like it couldn't connect to his hip properly.

Also, for all the fans of Attack on Titan who loved Marco- the guy who suffered the tragedy of "just another soldier", brought to light the scandal of Annie, Bert and Reiner, and even prompted major character development in Jean- Isayama forgot who Marco was.

That one with Sinon doesn't make sense, there is no way glasses like that could protect you from a bullet to the eye. Even if they were indestructible, the impact would kill you. But it's SAO, I shouldn't expect much.

It's likely that the polymer alone would stop a bullet if properly supported, and her glasses were cut from that on the grounds that it's just plain neat.

It would sorta be irrelevant. There's no way to halt or muffle the force. Sure, it distributes it over a greater area, but it's not going to help much if a bullet hits it.

Whoops. i should have been more clear. I'm talking about if a bullet hits the bullet proof glass, sure it would stop the bullet but that force needs to be distributed somewhere. In this case, the frames. Particularly the ridge between the nose. if the frames are that of a normal variety then they would snap, sending the eyepiece into the eye of the user potentially killing them. this is what i meant in my original comment but thought it was to long winded to actually post.
