School Days was released long before Mirai Nikki and depicted extreme yanderes.

Can't speak for any time before that though; but I wouldn't rule out the fact.

I'm just saying it how I see it. I doubted that Yuno was the first ever yandere, but it looks to me as she is the one who made yanderes really popular, gave it a good boost in other words.

I don't claim to be an expert om this, I don't really watch much anime, and please don't call me a kid.
