For some reason I've always thought Black Butler was a slice of life about a rich kid and his butler at some estate. I stayed clear of it for that very reason... I'm not very smart I guess.

The anime mostly, there is that scene (toned down) in the manga but it's actually pretty gorey and dark in the manga

While I hated the corset scene, but after that arc it actually became allot better...the manga that is. The anime is just complete ******** ....though they did do a third season which will follow the manga apparently so that ones supposed to be better

Sebastian is also a common name for European butlers in Japanese fiction. It's like their version of Jeeves or Alfred.
