FJ, could you kindly stop giving me more anime to watch than I can actually watch. I already have 200gb's worth. I need to finish some of that first.

Weaboo = Someone deliberately trying to copy Japanese culture throughout their lives. Generally going as far as throwing Japanese words into their speech, performing Japanese cultural things that have no true relevance here eg. Saying Itadakimasu. They also watch a lot of anime and read a lot of manga and usually try and copy stuff from that constantly too (as it is usually their frame of reference).

Now that I have slapped your ignorant face with some knowledge, how about we look at something here. The person here has posted this image, because they like anime/manga, however, there isn;t anything else there to show what they act like. They are simply someone who enjoys a different form of media to you, and yet you make a snap judgment and call them a weaboo and try and degrade them, because you don't share in their hobby.

You don't like it? Fine, scroll on, but keep your moronic statements off the comments, you degenerate **** .

Or we just like anime and the reaction images fit? I don't really care about Japanese culture and I don't intend to learn Japanese.
#17 to #16 - anonymous (07/10/2013) [-]
How did you prove it by my own definition? He isn't trying to copy Japanese culture, he is referencing a show he likes, with another show he likes, making a reference to those who understand the content. Y

ou wouldn't have an issue if it were western media now, would you? I am sure if they were referencing something you understood, you would be fine with that.

Also, 500gb of anime that he won't watch? Bitch please. More than likely, he will eventually get through it all, especially if there are some killer series in there like Accel world, Attack on Titan, Gosick, Clannad and many others.

So how about you re-read the definition I gave of a weaboo, and realise your mistake, hm? Come on, you can't be too ignorant to read, right? Come on you degenerate **** wit, at least try and comprehend stuff from outside your small, insular little hate bubble.

Stay mad morons. ~

Anon here. The 'XD's are a bit much, but I saw your comment about it being a habit from MMO's, so it is all cool.

I guessed those animes, since they have made it into the realms of the classics now, even though Attack on Titan just finished, it is already classic.

If you are learning Japanese, I take it that it is for some practical purpose, like wanting to visit in the future or personal interest, and not just so you can fill your sentences with occasional blurts of 'Sugoi' and 'Kawaii'. With that assumption, I shall say, keep up the good work Sir(/ma'am).

Usually the person who says "stay mad" is the one person who is mad. Also, the person who tends to be the ignorant one who ignores the truth of points made in an argument is usually wrong. Also, the Japanese are pretty xenophobic so it wouldn't be a surprise if they hated everybody who doesn't have light skin with Asian descent.

But no matter what, ignorance of the truth is valid in any argument just so long as you are displaying ignorance. Sure, I'm using your ignorance a lot in this but that's the only problem I see with you. You just aren't accepting anything anybody says. Watching anime doesn't make you a weaboo, watching MLP doesn't make you a *********** and furries....well, that's their fetish, can't really say anything bad about that (it's bad to ridicule someone who faps to furries, it's good to ridicule someone who has a fetish of raping while killing).

If you want an example of a weaboo, I'll give you one. And an example of a normal, anime watcher/fan.

This is an example of someone who is a weaboo we all can say "I want to kill her and rape th- wait no, I don't want the weaboo on my dick" : www.youtube.com/user/MissHannahMinx

And here is an example of an anime fan who doesn't want to be Japanese, he just wants to watch anime. : www.youtube.com/user/gigguk
If you notice, he doesn't have any Japanese characters on his videos.

I'm not calling you names, I'm just stating that you're ignoring the true definition of what a weaboo is.

You seem to be changing the subject. While I was straying off the initial subject, I went right back to it after you replied to me.

The only reason why I brought bronies and furries into my argument was because you brought it up. Hardcore bronies are the "weaboos" of MLP, the closet bronies are just watching it because they like it.

The reason why people put things up from their entertainment is because they want to share and talk about their interests. Haters just don't have a place in whatever the content is that they hate. In fact, I don't even know why people find it fun to hate something. Oh wait, they want to feel superior to other peoples' interests since they think that what they like is better than what those people like. (For context's sake) If that's what you call a weaboo, a person who shares what they like to other people so that they can talk about it, then you have got it all wrong.

Sure, you're not going to watch the 500GB of shows until you're done the one you're currently on. But it's like gaming, especially Steam users, actually, it's worse with Steam gamers. They buy (you see where I'm getting at right?) whatever is on sale and waste money on something that they may never get to. With anime, or any other medium, you can delete it since you have not paid for it and forget that it ever existed. But getting rid of something you paid for and never get the money back, is such a waste. But back to gamers that are on the consoles. They usually play the game, get halfway through it and get bored. They buy another game to keep occupied until they're in the mood to play the other game again. They finish that and once they finish the first game they will finish the second game with no loss.

Again, I was using ignorant a lot but with what you showed me from the smallest thing as revising your definition of a word (a word, one word is objective but a phrase is something subjective) and refusing to accept what multiple people have told you, I have to come to that conclusion. Now if you were to have accepted it with this comment www.funnyjunk.com/channel/animemanga/Alone/svTsGfi/15#15 , then you wouldn't have had to waste your time on me. Your assumption that I am ashamed of liking anime and a weaboo is wrong because 1. I am not a weaboo, 2. All my friends know that I like anime. Anyway, you say that I keep trying to pass my subjective opinions as truth, but that is wrong also. For one thing, you're passively trying to tell me that a weaboo is an anime fan who likes talking about anime but those two are completely different things, google it. Now that is your opinion but it is wrong because the definition of a weaboo is objective, again, google it.

I don't want to deal with this anymore, now I'm bored. You're just hopeless cause now. I can't believe I didn't see it earlier.

She may be doing what she likes to do (wanting to be Japanese, learning Japanese so she can be Japanese, living in Japan because she's obsessed with it) but me, I just want to limit myself to anime and the language. Personally, I like the Japanese language and would like to learn it (better than learning French at least). But Minx is just an annoying weaboo, she's in no way like me. Again, you're ignoring the true definition of a weaboo, I am just a person who likes anime, a person who likes anime =/= weaboo. How hard is that to understand mate? The definition of a weaboo is right here: www.funnyjunk.com/channel/animemanga/Alone/svTsGfi/15#15 The definition of an anime fan is something I can give you myself: An anime fan is a person who likes watching anime. That simple. If you do not choose to accept that then I have to without a doubt say that you are ignorant. So, am I, an anime fan (not a weaboo) in the definition of being a weaboo?
My example of Steam users being worse than people who download 500GB of anime is a good example. You're just too dumb to realize yourself that downloading anime from a torrent site is free while buying from games Steam is not. Steam users waste real life money on games that they will never buy, but anime users are not wasting money and is just using space on a hard drive. A hard drive has multiple purposes so buy a hard drive for more space has value of it's own.
For the record, I'd find cons boring if I ever went to one.
If you have said "No" to me being a weaboo then you can stop reading here and not waste your time. Thank you for letting me inform you.

I have never talked to anyone (on the internet) who was as ignorant as you.
And if you call me saying that you're ignorant is me calling you names, then I have to inform you that ignorance is a trait, not a name. Although I do not know any of your other traits I can say that is one of them.
But you also do not know me, so you are making assumptions that I can say are wrong.

True enough, people like that exist in the world. All we can do for them is to let them be informed of what has been set in stone so they can at least revise and then back up their knowledge.

There you go, making groundless assumptions about my intelligence, most likely because you want to distract yourself from the flaws you have made in your argument up to now. Also, I argued with you before, as an anon, if you were paying attention. It's just my patience is limited, and I appreciate when someone takes up my argument, which was right to begin with, and puts it more eloquently.

Can't you just accept that people like what they will like, and that you making broad assumptions instantly from one thing, is only going to cause hate. This all started because you called someone a weaboo, whom wasn't one. You then got aggressive and snarky, assuming you were correct, and any defiance on our part, was because we fell under your broad category of weaboo. You decided we were wrong on an assumption you made incorrectly.

You mentioned how any group is going to call you ignorant for not liking what they like, that is not the case here. We are calling you ignorant, not because you don't share our interest, but because you used an insulting term towards us, incorrectly. You don't have to like what we like, but save your bile and abuse for someone else and try and get your stereotypes straight before you go and abuse people.

I know this is the internet, where you feel safe enough to throw out this kind of abuse without thinking, but how it reflects on your character is poor to say the least. Be tolerant of peoples tastes and don't be so ignorant and pathetic as to colour everyone with the same brush, on one broadly observable quality.
