Very much! I've been reading the novel, ever since episode 10ish. I was trying not to, but I just couldn't handle the wait - Made worse by the fact how far behind the manga is!
Which Walter is that?
I find Sebas awesome because he's the only one from Nazarick with a Great Good alignment, while everyone else has either Neutral or Great Evil. But that doesn't stop him from being extremely ******* loyal.
Oooh, that Walter! I certainly see the resemblance. Only Sebas seems less corny or something, I can't imagine him cracking a joke. Also he not at all looks like someone who might betray Ainz for a nonsensical plot twist.
The part I love is that Ainz altered Albedo's character info in order to make her lust for him. Shalltear wasn't touched by the editor, and wants the skelly d, so her Supreme One was already shipping her and Ainz.
Momonga was the original name. Momon is his adventurer name. The reason he went from Momonga to Ainz Ooal Gown is because his ultimate goal is to see if his old guild friends are somewhere in the world. If his name becomes legendary enough, then any of his old friends (if they are here) will know something is up and finally reunite. Also he plans on revealing that Momon is Ainz once Momon becomes popular enough.
Momonga, I think it was. I think it's where they got the Momon from, really!
And because he felt he had to take charge of the guild in a more intimate manner. Leadership wise, it was the best decision; however, considering their settings, sticking with his name would have been better to the NPC's.
Beyond even -that-, Ainz is a better name for a spellcaster in consideration to the new world! So, 2/3 ain't bad.
but I'm telling you the volume where season 2 if it happens picks up is very very boring, almost gave up on it all together, the best volume yet is The Men of The Kingdom IMHO
The guy that Crazybitch (Clementine I think?) kidnapped and temporarily blinded. The guy that can use any magical item out there. He's an alchemist I think. (It's been a while since I read the book he was in and I was never really interested in his character.)
Yah, up to now they've almost just barely introduced the world and still shoved interesting factions and people into our faces so it was about time they backtracked a bit. In that regard volume 8 (as far as part 1 is concerned) seems to be updating us on what's happened elsewhere; part 1 and presumably 2 is the village he saved practically out the door and we almost never heard from again.
Bit of a dick move to do that right after a cliff hanger doe, y u gotta tease.
How "Imp" in old english is one thing and "Succubus" is another, but in japan it doesn't mean anything since its the TRANSLATOR who changed it to the nearest appropriate word (And translators can **** up)
I mean they'll label something as "Demon" in there, but it could very well be an Oni. Japan has different mythical creatures than the west.
but oni (eastern demon) are different then a western demon, in some cases they can be interchangeable but since there is no direct translation the proper way to identify something would be to call it its name in its original language, such as if a westerner identified a oni as an oni instead of as a demon, an example of this is how they identify vampires as vampires (another western demon) in almost any language as vampires instead of a translated identifier.
No, I'm pretty sure she is talked about as a succubus, namely her creator loved "gap-moe" something where you take a theme and mess with it. So, she is a virgin succubus. (Source: I've read the manga, but it could have been a bad translation)
Hopefully there will be a season 2 since Madhouse tends to just make 1 season just to pique interest in the light novels I'm looking at you, No Game No Life
I really want a second season cause this is the first anime in a while that's made me have a good laugh in a while, but while the last episode spoilers little bits of season 2 Ainz isn't the focus of the story at that point I'ts all about Sebas and the lizardmen which is totally fine
Personally i like this Anime because the main character isn't trying to adjust to his "New life" he's just still considering them as npc's, And i ******* love that.
Haven't read the light novels just yet, but yeah that's one of the aspects of this anime that makes it great. I wouldn't be surprised if he found another player who also stayed when the servers of Yggdrasil were shut down. It could go in any direction, and I would still be satisfied.
well i havn't gotten to the last ep of the season yet, but i am assuming that is who that Holy faction is that took over the vampire's mind.
Personally i like it when he had a little tantrum after trying to wish her free, Kicking a massive boulder into the ground and then "Mana up!"
Everything about this show i just love, A lot of "I'm in a game, ooh nooo" shows don't mix well with me since THE SEASON THAT SHALL NOT BE SPOKEN OF. You know what it is.. i would read the manga, but when i start on an anime, i don't read the manga because i like Anime more most of the time.
Don't even bother with the manga as it is now. It is actually behind the anime, much less the LN. also **** that pathetic excuse of an anime that shall not be mentioned
The reason he isn't "adjusting" is because he is automatically calmed down when stressed (I think from being an undead or something). He pretty much lost his emotions, and by that I mean he can still feel emotion, but something extreme has to happen for it to really affect him.
Spoiler. Like when he found out Shalltear was mind controlled, and he started destroying his surroundings out of anger. While his "calm" effect tried to well, calm him, it didn't really work.
Well the spoiler doesn't spoil anything unless you haven't seen the last couple of episodes of the anime. So if you've watched the first (only?) season, then you're fine to click it. I'm going to start reading the light novel soon; if you want a link to it, just ask.
