Me and a friend went to vote today
Our boss let us leave work if we clocked out and then back in when we got back (he's cheap)
I saw a bagel stand on my way to the car
we drove our cars there (0.2 gallons rounds up to about 80¢, NY/NJ Gas Prices)
we both waited for parking spots (5 minutes, if payed at minimum wage = 66¢)
we both then found our ballot and waited in line to vote (3 minutes, if payed at minimum wage = 40¢)
walked out of the place and drove home (0.2 gallons rounds up to about 80¢, NY/NJ Gas Price)
Back at work we realized we both voted for different people, which cancelled our votes out.
Imagine if there were more than two focused choices? This stuff might matter.
We each spent $2.66 wasting about 15 minutes I could have spent sitting on my ass eating a bagel!
