Yes that is true, but she acts like she doesn't hear anything. If I hear a car coming that fast, I would turn my head around, to see where the noise is coming from...
I think OP is referring to how she's just walking away from it. Not freaking out, just stepping over the thing and keep going. That's either nerves of steel, or being so stupid they don't realize they almost died.
While I agree on what you say, and that it most certainly could be true; I would think that it's PRETTY ******* STUPID to walk in the middle of a road, except when crossing it (which she certainly isn't at that moment)
Actually when they do this it's because they are swarming, their queen is in the center. It's the same way bee-beards are made and the bees are in this state pretty harmless.
Source: Got bees in my garden also google it if you don't believe it!
I wouldnt call them assholes. Sure they didnt react, but its much harder than it actually looks to help someone in that situation, its easy for your brain to just freeze.
I dunno. He said ' nerves of steel ' -or- ' dumb. '
That can apply to either...
Her walking in the road, alongside the curb,
or
her reaction to the car crash.
I saw OP applying it toward the latter ( dumb for walking away ' calmly ' from a car crash ), but I suppose that the words can be stretched the other direction, to say that she was dumb for walking alongside the curb in the street.
Fair point. :3 Neat. Thank you for the observation contrary to mine.
