I could understand how someone could keep a retarded kid they gave birth to (even though I'd put them for adoption myself) but otherwise I don't understand. I find it disgusting really, they're like a pet except they'll never be able to take care of themselves like a cat or dog could still survive without you. You're basically keep a human as a pet. And the norm in society is to be happy around them but why? Because your human pet would get upset?

well i know a woman whose daugher has downs syndrome and was in our school , the woman had ******* spoiled her rotten but to a point she still had the innocence of a retarded child, so she was the most annoying down syndrome girl that could ever exist (lets just call her martha) , 3 years later almost everyone in school was hoping one of her vital organs would fail (i think that's what happens to them when they're older, kinda like not just their brain but their whole body is retarded)
we and by we i mean my whole classroom had done several psychological "experiments" with martha, and we concluded that she could only feel superficial suffering (pain, fear, sadness)
she was not completely capable of understanding her situation
her life could drastically change from living on a ******* expensive-ass house with her filthy rich parents to a dumpster with a bunch of hobos and still think she was on a teenager drama sitcom or some ****
oh also she had a delay in her reaction to pain, like half a minute
we learned this when she took a ******* cannon-kicked football to the face (it wasn't intentional)
needles to say it was a poor school Peruvian school
my guess is that parents keep them because of peer pressure

the worst thing is after that the hypocrisy of the parents
they put her both in an expensive ass school for special children and our poor not to mention PAYED (here in Peru you don't pay for the quality of the school, you pay for the quality of people ) school
so she could "integrate" to our group
our ******* grades were on the ground because theachers payed much more attention to her than us
in 5 ******* years she had the same tests and **** "color the puppy blue"
and then colored it green and had to re-do it
taking 60% of the ******* hour
to this day none of her vital organs has failed
i heard she's working on a cake shop with her mother
