raw internet from was amazing.
eonly intelligent, white (mostly nerdy) males used it
freedom, creativity and culture developed
of speech, anonymity encouraged, amazing communities
government and corporate clampdown began to min everything
less about creativity and new ideas, and more about optimizing
ad revenue and views
The average Joe" started using the web
People began catering to the average ice to boost revenue.
content became ****
governments completely removing anonymity and free speech online almost everywhere
rehashed formulaic garbage
shave to came to places like he ta find fresh perspectives and new ideas

Well, the guy has a point.

Its not as grim, you can still find plenty of thought provoking discussions and new ideas. But some of the freedom has gone away.
Not to mention all the political ******** . Political correct, social justice, sexism. Now the internet is sexist and must cater to their politically correct needs, a decade ago it was for anti-socials and nerds. And they scoffed a lot of us for being on the internet all day.

You inherented the internet from a predominantly white male demographic, as you didnt care much for it during its formative years. And now you complain the internet is to much shaped by the only ones who gave a damn about it in the first place.
