They're somehow changing from java to html5 to get a better degree of graphics. They're not totally recoding the game just somehow doing something like that.

Eh he's wrong they still haven't fixed it, I got on not to long ago to see what the anti-bot update was like and I was lagging on medium settings with a nvidia gtx 550ti. Which before all the poor performance updates I was getting a solid 50 fps with the settings on the highest. really poorly optimized game.

The antibot updates about a year ago was what caused the optimization issues the first place, they've fixed it since then

ahh. I might give RS a check up. Hopefully it didn't change too much in the last 3 years I was gone.
