This post goes 99% of the way to making an excellent point about a deep, bitter poison of derision and divisiveness that is gripping our Modern Culture...

... and then ******* throws it all away by using it as ammunition against a mostly-imaginary enemy.

Come on, people. ********** will get us nowhere.

The upper, green part of the Greentext was, i thought, setting up for a moral / explanation / conclusion something more like...

"How has today's society gotten so uptight and venomous?"
OR
"Why are people making enemies with other citizens as a pastime?"
OR
"Why do people casually form shallow yet bitter and poisonous judgements about strangers as a pastime?"
OR
"See what ************ gets us? A Culture of confused hate."

...Which, IMO, are very good points, and begin to shine light on some of the primary demons that are wrecking our Society nowadays.

But instead, the author at the very end throws it all away!
1. He uses his good, strong argument... to point out 'The Evils of Feminists'? A group of people who really have far less cohesion or influence than we all give them credit for? Weeeeak.
2. He WHINES. He's basically saying "Get out my business, YA BIG FAT MEANIE (runs away crying)."
3. He totally doesn't address any of the (much more productive, incisive, and evil-revealing) conclusions that I pointed out above.

...That's what i meant by ' *********** :

People get so wrapped up in these little tribal, self-masturbating fights (Democrattt versus Repoooblucan, Feminist versus Man-ist(?), America versus The-Rest-Of-The-World, Faggots Versus Straights) that we miss the real issues that, while we're all distracted by the ********** , are drawing the Eclipse to our WHOLE ******* SOCIETY.

Nah, man.

I've dealt with feminists before - I usually smack them down and move on.

Feminism is a little ideological turd-hurricane... and i think we give it too much power be claiming that it is such a large problem.

There are much deeper, MORE evil ideologies and psycho-social diseases that are eating our nations apart, and Greentext OP has a chance to address those, and i just feel he took a bunch of great, powerful examples, and used them to hit a target (militant feminism) that isn't really that much of an opponent.

Your points are great but I don't think the original points were as general. I get that you don't like the whole tribal thing but the points are very clearly at effects on the views of men that are results of the agenda that feminism had set forth.

The simple mention of feminism seems to be what threw you off. I think there might be another reason for that but don't you see the connection there?
